Love the pictures of Willow and Doulson from dinner. How sweet.

That Baked Alaska does look lame. How disappointing!

How awesome that the room service CM remembered you-and that Willow loves chocolate! The service on DCL really does sound outstanding.

I can't wait for the PTR to start, I'm not ready to give up one of our places to chat!
I think we can manage to keep 3 reports running at all times between TRs and PTRs, don't you?

The Panama Canal! Sounds fun if you decided to keep it.

The last day on the cruise sounds about as nice as a last day can be. Vancouver looks pretty that's one of my bucket list cities. Just have to get me on a plane...

I have really enjoyed your TR & getting to know you, Willow & the Judies!
Vancouver is a beautiful city, which is cracking me up right now because in replying to you I just realized that I typed Vancouver in my update, and of course, we visited Victoria! And that may be an even more beautiful city! I haven't been to either in decades, but they are both really nice! Need to correct that last day now......

Megan, thank you so much for joining in. I hope that you will check in at least occasionally on the PTR. I have enjoyed your TR so much too!

I'm glad you guys had fun! To me, Disney Cruise is the only way to go! I can't wait for your PTR!
*sigh* It was really sad to say good-bye to this report, but I am super-excited to get everyone's thoughts and advice on our next trip. There is a lot of time to plan and change things up, so it will be fun to get the input of all you great DIS'ers!

That baked Alaska is just...pitiful. But the rest of dinner looked yummy.

That's too funny about the call to room service.

Poor Willow....why should she have to leave "her" cruise ship & "her" Doulson? That's just not right.

Ok....where is the PTR?
I was going to start the PTR tonight - just for you! But a colleague was here from Portland, so I ended up going out to dinner with her. Too tired now to write up the start of the PTR. TOMORROW for sure!!!

Wow - thank you so much for reading! I highly recommend the Alaska cruise - I would honestly seriously consider doing it again one day.

Thank you so much for this trip report. I wondered if an Alaska cruise would be fun for kids, and if the kids' clubs on the smaller Disney ships were fun enough to be worth it for our family. But your TR really reasurred me. I think we're homing in on an Alaska cruise in the summer of 2014 when our youngest is old enough to go to the kids' clubs. Thanks for sharing so much of your trip!

Nooooo....not the end How in the world did I get so behind???! I started laughing when you apologized for being "pokey"with your TR!! Ha! If you're pokey, then I can't imagine what I am!!! I've got to get an installment done

Ok...so one of your servers actually told you about Disney getting rid of CMs???? How strange! And how totally not appropriate to discuss with guests. My guess would be that she won't be getting rehired. By the way, I love the pic of Willow and your server!! Excellent picture!

Hmmmm..... so you're taking another cruise????!!! 10 days, 14 days?? Lucky you!!! Can't wait to jump on the pre-trip report to see what you have actually decided to do.

Thanks for sharing your cruise with everyone! You've totally made me want to cruise Alaska Now....time to check out your other PTR.....

Heather

Oh, thank you so much for reading! I really believe you will enjoy the Alaska cruise - it was fantastic, and the CMs on the Wonder were just amazing.

And congrats on your upcoming surprise mother/daughter trip! We did a surprise trip to DLR in January and had such an amazing time together!

I have to keep it moving because I have the potential to forget everything!

Yeah, I have a feeling that Juni probably wasn't going to get another contract. I feel bad for her, but stuff like that would be exactly why.

You should definitely do the Alaska cruise!

I am viewing your trip report and have noticed that none of your pictures from post 17 on are now showing up. Being the computer illiterate person that I am I have no idea what the problem is. I am just sorry I have missed your pictures. My daughter, her partner and I have an Alaskan cruise scheduled for a year from now and I am very interested in the trip reports and the pictures.

I'm sorry you missed the pics - you may have just hit it on a wonky Photobucket night or something. However, thank you so much for reading my TR! How exciting that you will be doing the cruise with your daughter and partner. I have so enjoyed including my mom on vacations with me and my daughter.

Thank you for such a detailed trip report. It certainly helped me plan for the trip I just finished. (As well as making me be more eager each day to go)

I had to come over here and read this report. I really enjoyed it!! I would love to do a Disney cruise some day and the Alaskan cruise seems like it would be more relaxing than the Caribbean.
