It's obvious that the OP does not like the ride and that's opinion. I personally do not share in that opinion. I am thrilled the balls are gone. It makes the ride better in my opinion. This attraction lived up to what I thought it was going to be. I will continue to ride it.

For what it's worth, I really enjoyed this ride. It's clearly not for everyone, the OP especially. Ya know what, neither is any other ride.
There are different aspects of any particular ride that will appeal to different people. I think a key to a successful theme park is creating multiple attractions that appeal to a WIDE audience. Not all rides can be high-speed E ticket attractions, nor can all rides be major "people-eaters." As such, I believe LFT fills a niche in CL. If it is truly a failure (according to the numerous researchers tracking this right now), then I'm sure adjustments will be made. Otherwise, move along to another attraction. There are plenty of other things for you to do, and there are plenty of people who DO like it in your absence. |

I am here with Pat McDuck now. We rode it twice on this trip, once together and once separate. Separate was this morning during early entry when it was pretty much a walkon. I thought it was fun. Certainly not a thrill ride but not bad. I wouldn't wait more than 30 minutes for it but would not call it a ridiculous ride. Mater's is fun too. Of course, Radiator Springs is the best, we have ridden it 7 times since Saturday, 5 times in the single rider line (30 min) and twice with fastpass.

I like Luigi's. YMMV.

I have a feeling this ride will be either completely gone or totally redone in a year or so. It's not a keeper.

My family and I enjoyed the ride. Especially at night, when it is cooler, the sun isn't in your eyes and it has the greatest ambiance. |

We liked it! We rode it with the balls over the summer and had a blast! Probably the third of the three rides in Carsland but I say leave it alone. It's a keeper! Better than another Dumbo like ride.

Cars Movies keep coming out - ride stays open
As long as the franchise keeps going the ride will stay open.
