Meeting Jack Sparrow at MNSSHP - The DIS Discussion Forums

Our friend who is going with us on our trip has sewn a complete Elizabeth Swan outfit for MNSSHP. She says she wants to get her picture with Jack Sparrow. Now DH and I aren't really to type to stand in long lines to meet characters but we'll do it for a friend. So how do we minimize the wait? We'll get to the MK right at 4 PM for the party. What time can we get in line for the Jack Sparrow M&G? Where does the line form? We figure if we can do this right away we can then enjoy the rest of the party.

He meets across from Pirates of the Carribean. Ask a nearby CM for his precise location and where and when you can line up. For that M&G, I would recommend being there in the 6:30p-6:45p timeframe. I've heard he is not particularly prompt--probably has to do with all that rum--and sometimes first appears as late as 7:45p.

We got in line last year at about 6:30pm and we were probably the 10th family in line. Jack was fairly prompt. However, he takes forever with each family and allows every possible shot. Just mom & dad, then just kids, then girls, then boys then just mom anyway you get the picture. While this is great and you get a lot of shots in is very, very long waiting. We definitely will never wait like that again. Such a waste of party time.

He is also a must-meet for us when we go on 10/4! We plan to line up for the Dwarves around 6pm and then head right over to Jack after that meeting. Those are the only two meets my kids care about this year

Last year we were at the first party of the season and I think he made it out around 7:45. We were about 7-8 groups deep. It went fairly quickly once he arrived. During the wait DH took the kiddos to go collect candy to pass the time

See him later in evening. He was late again this year for first party as were several characters
