Thank you, Michael! I am not a skier, but maybe I would have attempted that sport at a Disney ski resort. I definitely would have enjoyed the summer activities.

Great article with a few things I didn't know.

One interesting tidbit that I recently read in Walt's biography. The press conference don't to announce the Mineral King resort was the very last press conference that Walt Disney attended before he died.

I'm an avid skier (as you might tell by my name) and would have loved the idea of a Disney ski resort - though more than likely I would never be able to afford it, since I can barely afford "cheap" skiing.

There are still people in central Massachusetts who swear Disney was going to purchase Mount Wachusett...lol
