Printing Door Magnets
I was wondering if anyone has ever printed door magnets using Kinkos. Thought that would be better than using my ink at home but wasn't sure if they would do it since it's Disney and copyright stuff!

It's not that they can't make money printing copyrighted material - they could make lots of it. It's that doing so makes them a partner in violating copyright, and copyright holders could sue their butts off.
So most places are overly cautious about it. I've actually run into problems at Kinkos before trying to make copies of my own stuff when it had my own business name and copyright notice. |

Our Kinko's is real ornery about printing Disney stuff like that, so we print our own.

Here's what we do:
1) Upload pics to Shutterfly having them print at Target. This is 20 cents for a 4x6. I think an 8x10 is ~$3. 2) Pick up a magnet roll at Michaels (using a coupon of course!). It $9.99 before the coupon. It's adhesive on one side of the magnet. 3.) Stick the pic to the magnet roll & cut out if necessary. Magnets look 4000% nicer printed as photos rather than on a home printer & it's WAAAAYYYY cheaper. It saves your ink & that magnet paper that goes in your printer is pretty costly. I have never had any copyright situations or anything like that. Sent from my iPhone using DISBoards

Michaels coupons are usually 40 or 50% off, so that brings the magnet roll down nicely in price to $5 or $6
And you could get the pics printed anywhere - Costco, Walgreens, etc. Sent from my iPhone using DISBoards
