Behind the Scenes Tour - Penguins

Hi everyone!

My sister-in-law LOVES penguins. I know the penguin encounter is currently closed through 2013, but heard you can still visit a penguin on the behind scenes tour.

Can anyone confirm you meet a penguin?

Thanks!

I have a friend who did the tour and they got to meet a penguin. I can't remember when she did it. I don't the penguin encounter was closed but I am sure that the tour stays the same.

We did the behind the scenes tour in May for my penguin crazy daughter. We got to pet the penguin and they put her (Mario) on the ground and she walked around. IT was wonderful and truly made my daughter's trip/day/year! It was fab. Hoping the new display/tour is open when we intend to go back in April/May 2013
