Ok, first the quick stuff: awesome monorail pics, sucks about the break in.

Now, tell us more about DVC at the Poly. Are they thinking of converting a few of of the buildings? Adding a new tower? We need DETAILS! (please)

Don't worry Mark, your secret is safe with me.

Well said, though Mark. Well said.

I picked it up, hauled it to the woods and dumped the rotten stuff out. I left it back there for a few days to air out, but I brought it back up to the house last night so they can pick it up when they bring our new freezer. I wanted to see exactly how small I could crush this thing, but I figured I should leave it somewhat close to it's normal shape so that they actually will take it.

This time we're getting an upright that will go inside the house for closer observation.

I'm just glad it happened when it did. We have a 1/4 of beef to pick up at the meat locker this weekend.
Sometimes I really miss living on a farm.

Morning all…

Eventful evening last night…
had to rescue DW when her car refused to start back up during a shopping trip.
It ended up being a simple dead battery. One of the few you can still do on the newer vehicles without having to remove sixteen plastic coverings and avoid damaging overly sensitive computers. That’s a Benjamin that I’d like to have back, but at least it was easily solved.

So…
What are y’all up to?

Its Thursday once again, and hopefully I get to head home this afternoon. Im back in Manassas, and had planned on contacted DEA for another meetup, but my schedule has once again crushed that idea. I had 13.5 hrs my first day and 11 yesterday. I have a meeting this afternoon at 3 (who the beverly schedules a meeting for 3 in the afternoon?) before I drive the 4-5 hrs back to NC. Still not sure if I am going to stick around for it or just leave.

Oh and late last night, they finally made an arrest in the murder of my mother in laws cousin. Pretty stoked about that!

Matt

Long days… lots of driving… I’d vote for the “just leave” option, but that’s not always possible in the real world.

Glad to hear that there has been some progress on the criminal investigation.
May that continue to move in a positive direction.

OK… at least my vehicular problems were just normal wear and tear.
Stuff like that just makes me absolutely nutty. We had some teens pulling off similar type of garbage a while back, but a couple of home surveillance videos posted to YouTube got them caught and that nonsense put to an end. Hopefully there will be a quick resolution to the problem.

Now that you mention it, I do believe I remember seeing that item listed on the sticker of the last new car I bought. That was back in 1992. I can no longer afford to buy “new” vehicles though, so I just won’t be able to enjoy that particular upgrade any more.

It's the Wisconsin part I can not comprehend... you mean there are people you want to see in Wisconsin?

One there is something about a new Longhouse in the future. The GCH, Grand Ceremonial Hall is up for refurb and some other parts as well. No conversions yet planned! No name yet for the new longhouse.

Yeah that was funny about the tire comment you made. "its a new tire" Make sure to keep you awake on long drives!!!

They are classics for a reason.

It's funny, my wife grew up with just her sister, no brothers. I had two older brothers, no sisters. We have a girl and a boy. Since we were never exposed to the brother/sister dynamic, it is hilarious to see with our kids. My daughter is cosntantly annoyed at the silliness of her little brother who thinks seeing someone get hit in the groin is the funniest thing on the planet.

Crooks!
That reminds me... When I get a new tire, I have to make sure to get the winter air. Even though it seeped out of this one, they told me it was guaranteed. I get the air free going forward and $129 service call to put it in.

Sounds like a good deal. I bet those winters in Canada can get pretty cold. Better to be safe and have that winter air in there.
