I know, I hope they come out with something equally as cute. We liked the witch cupcake last year. They should add a special cupcake to the dessert party....something you can't get elsewhere

So the hamburger cupcake is cookies? I thought it was cupcake that had been split. Hmm, if it's cookies that does sound too sweet.

I ate an entire Butterfinger cupcake last week by myself. I felt fat and sick afterwards but it was soooo delicious.
Tbank you SO much!! The grandmunchkins are not much for sweets, so that is why I think this appeals to them. It looks like food, lol!! Even if we don't eat it, I would love it for the uniqueness and the fact that I know it would make them very happy that Grammie got it for them!!! :

I must say, I am totally impressed!!! You accomplished an amazing fete!!! I think you deserved another one for the next day!!!!The butterfinger cupcakes are the bomb, but I think this time, I really want to try a red velvet one!!

The hamburger part was a couple thin "slices" of chocolate and vanilla cupcakes that were very good, the bun for the hot dog was sugar cookies. The hot dog itself was a long strip of frosting, and the fries were some more sugar cookies. I was longing for more cake and less cookies and frosting.

Why, thank you...lol. I seriously can't stop thinking about how delicious that Butterfinger was. It was a toss up between that one and the red velvet. There was chocolate peanut butter too, but I had already tried one a few days before at Main St. bakery. I tried to talk one of my kids into getting the red velvet to share, but they both insisted on the apple turnover and brownie.

Your grandkids will have a lot of fun with the burger, hot dog and fries. It looks exactly as it does in that picture. You'll have fun watching them with it. I'm glad I could help. Enjoy your time with them!!

OMG, never being a big cupcake eater(even though I do like them) I had no idea how much variety and amazing cupcakes were served!!!! I have really been missing out this whole time

I know what all my counter service desserts and many snack credits will consist of on my next trip, now

DH and I both had the chocolate peanut butter cupcake from the Main Street Bakery in March. WOW! Was it ever good! Can't wait to try more next month when we go.

Question

I LOVE a great cupcake but I'm wondering if all these cupcakes are actually "delicious" or more delicious looking. I hate to be a cupcake snob but I've seen people compliment a cupcake when both the cake and the frosting came from a box and can respectively. Don't get me wrong, I like a good box cake and make them more often than scratch, but I can always tell the difference. And canned icing tastes pretty artificial and yucky to me. I like to bake and I grew up with a Mom who's a great cook, so I'm wondering if all the sweet treats will really impress me or just be empty calories. Any baking snobs out there that can weigh in on the homemade yumminess of Disney desserts (if there are any)?

I can say that I did have one cupcake from some sort of bake shop in DTD a couple yrs ago. The cake was average and the frosting was piled higher than any I've ever seen. The frosting was better than I expected but not as good as homemade buttercream (I doubt they used full butter).

The Butterfinger and the Chocolate Peanut Butter cupcakes that I had were downright delicious. Fresh, moist and perfect. I'm a cupcake snob and can't stop thinking about them.

I am in total agreement! I do not eat cupcakes anywhere else, but Disney because of the disappointment factor. Every time I try a "great" cupcake, I wonder why there isn't any fillling? where is the ganache? why is this cake so blah?

Be aware that even at WDW, not all cupcakes are equal, but you cannot go wrong at Starring Rolls! The only complaint I have is that you really have to share, because they are so big and rich.

I really DO want to live there!
I circulate my paper clips at work so they all get used or I feel like they'd be sad if they didn't get a "turn".

SO good!!! The lemon goop in the middle offset the sweetness of the strawberry icing perfectly. It was way yummy!
