I just received a letter in the mail from Wyndham directly with my reservation info on it. Kind of interesting as it lists the number of points used for my stay.

Arrive 10/19.

I know what you mean! I was all excited and told my DH the email came, and his reply was - "so you're excited that we get to pay!"

It just makes the trip all the more real!

I have to say though, the email contained very little actual info. I thought there would be more "official" looking attachments or something, but so many people on here have done this, that I'm not really concerned. Of course, I will call Wyndham to make sure we're in the system.

I have zero (repeat zero) experience with timeshare point management, but I'm guessing some reservations are easier than others to book.

We took a 2 bedroom deluxe (run of the mill room with plenty of options) and a relatively short period of time (5 nights).

I wouldn't be surprised that mine got done before others because it was simpler to pull together points to use.

We are at 43 days out from checking in.....guess I am going to call. I was trying to be patient, but Im just getting paranoid now

I would go ahead and call, why not? It might give you some piece of mind and they have always been very helpful over the phone. I know they say 20 - 50 days out, but that doesn't mean you have to wait until 20 days to call. (I would be certifiably insane if I waited that long

). You are paying them for a service, you have a question about it, so call and have one less thing to worry about for your trip.

Thanks! I called them earlier today and they looked up the ressie and said they had it down. I told them I knew other people (on here) that are going at the same time as I am and have already gotten their final payment email. He told me that it depends on the owner they are using the points from as to when the reservation goes into Bonnet Creeks system...or something like that. I feel okay after talking to him and he said that we should get our email soon.

I just got mine tonight and we are leaving Nov 6th and was a little surprised to see that email do soon! I am going to confirm with BC Monday.

Wow...you leave so much later than me. We arrive on the 20th of Oct. Weird that you got it on a weekend too. Maybe mine will be there in the morning

I know its impossible...but I wouldn't stress about this at all. When they first hit the scene there was some reason to stress, but their track record appears fine now.

As I had previously posted I'm sure different types of reservations require different levels of involvement and coordination. You very well could have a more complex reservation than others and its taking more time to piece it all togther.

So sit back and mentally prepare...worst case scenario you buy one last minute through someone else. They will not be sold out during that time most likely.

Just sitting here waiting...I know it will come soon enough. Just a bit more time we get to hold onto our money

I do feel better since I spoke with them. I would just like to have one more thing behind me. Im trying to be patient....God just didnt give me too much of that, unfortunately
