We took our DD at 19 months and for her it was the Character Meet and Greets! Other then that, she really just loved looking at everything. It was the trip we discovered the ground! We never realized how much attention Disney pays to what we are walking on.

Also, she loved the play areas, and the water fountains. Be sure to pack multiple changes of clothes into the parks with you each day.

We found our trip to be much slower paced with a toddler, and that made it fun. She loved the parades and fireworks, and just people watching.

Before our ds turned two we did lots of characters. Now he's afraid of them - he's 2 1/2. We leave tomorrow for the world and he's been mentioning dumbo, carpets and goofy roller coaster. Pretty much all of fantasy land is good for him and he likes potc and hm, as well as aladdin (carpets). In ak he loves the dino spin, in epcot he loves nemo and figment, and mexico. He also is ok with the land and spaceship earth and Norway. Oh, he also loves toy story, so we do tsmm and buzz. I have a feeling the Disney jr show in hs will be a much bigger hit this trip than in January - ds loves to dance and sing these days!

The monorail, the boat between Wildreness Lodge and MK, the kiddie tube slide at Typhoon Lagoon. He rode it 8 times... in an hour.

I was actually pretty shocked that my normally fearless son was afraid on a lot of rides at 2.5. Nemo terrified him...but he hadn't seen the movie, so that might have been why. Any ride that got pitch black scared him, including Spaceship Earth. He liked all of the other rides that DRDISNEYMD posted above. He wanted nothing to do with the characters, which was fine with me because I can't stand waiting in lines to meet characters.

He was 3.5 when we went this year and was fine on every ride except Star Tours and The Great Movie Ride. He loved Haunted Mansion and Splash Mountain.

~Awww, how could I forget about "Bruce"?!? He scares me! Bruce is scarier than Jaws to me, lol. That's an excellent point, many children are afraid of places that are dark and/or loud.
