Bf or lunch TS at AK

We plan to spend 1 day at AK. We have a choice of an early BF before park opens at Tusker House or a lunch TS at Yak and Yeti which will serve as our mid day break. We really don't want to do both TS as it'll be too much food. We won't be able to eat a heavy bf and lunch on the same day. What would you choose, bf or lunch?

If you

can get a really early ADR for breakfast - go for it. The meal is well above average for a TS. You will be well positioned for the safari.

If your goal is Expedition Everest, do Y&Y for lunch. You can get a lot done at rope drop.

I'd lean breakfast (although Boma is just as good )
And have QS lunch at Flametree BBQ. (the QS lunch at YnY is quite good, but I love BBQ )

I have an 8.15 ADR for Tusker House and a 12.30 ADR for Yak and Yeti. It is so tempting to be able to get to the park before it opens, but the menu at Yak and Yeti looks gd. Maybe I'll do QS at Yak and Yeti, so in a way it's like best of both worlds!

This way, we can do Kalimanjaro Safari after bf and hopefully make gd time for EE after that. We like both these rides and also Kali river rapids. These are must do for us

AK has shorter park hours. It is a favorite park for us, so I would not want to spend park hours sitting in a restaurant eating lunch. I would rather do the early breakfast.

In my opinion, the QS part of Y&Y sucks. It is nothing like their TS, which my family really likes.

We just had an early lunch ADR at Tusker House in June. We had not eaten there since it turned from CS to TS. Our whole party loved it - the food was great and the character interaction was superb. We called Tusker House "Boma Lite". It had the African flair of Boma, but had regular food also - everyone in our party was satisfied, even the picky eaters.

We love Yak and Yeti (TS) also, but in your case, I would pick Tusker House.

I would go for breakfast. I really like the TH breakfast. Yak and Yeti is pretty good but I prefer TH.

Just popping this over to the Restaurant board as food discussions are better asked here

We don't get a value from the breakfasts as we prefer a glass of juice and a bowl of cereal, so our vote would be for lunch.
