A Hole in a Roll
Has anyone tried A Hole in a Roll? Just saw this listed somewhere yesterday and thought it might be a good simple breakfast one morning or even a lunch for a non-park day.
ETA: LOL!!! Just realized the name was A Roll with a Hole and not a Hole in a Roll. Oops!! Last edited by ready2vacation; 09-02-2012 at 07:22 PM. |

I never heard of them, so I had to look.
![]() http://arollwithaholebagels.com/home I think it would be worth a try. Do you know exactly where the shop is located? |

We were lucky enough to stumble into "Roll with a Hole" one morning before we went to the parks. We were just looking for a quick bite to eat before the parks so we didnt waste much time (or money) in the parks for breakfast.
We are originally from NJ so our opinions on "Roll with a hole" are HIGHLY biased ! They have the BEST bagles in the area, hands down(probably in the whole state!). You will only understand what a "good" bagel is if you are from NJ...........or maybe NY . The owners are from Jersey, and they know how to make bagels...........the Jersey way. They have great breakfast sandwiches too. Taylor ham, egg and cheese........SPK.........yes "Jersey" taylor ham that the owner has specially shipped in. We were in heaven. Wound up spending at least an hour in there eating breakfast and B.S. ing with the owners (Art and Michelle). Art made us some special "Jersey" sandwiches and made us feel like we were family. The kids loved the bagels from home! The food and service was second to none (for a bagel shop). It is worth the time to stop here before the parks! Its in the shopping center behind Outback, Cracker Barrel, and Carrabba's on 192.........very close to the Sherberth road back road. Guess our secret is out .Give em a try, you wont regret it ! ![]() . After you try them out this Sunday, report back and let us know how you liked a NJ bagel. . If you want a real treat, order a "Taylor ham, egg and cheese sandwich with SPK (salt, pepper, ketchup)". A true NJ breakfast sandwich! Trust me, if you order it just like I said..........the owner will prob. look at you a little funny, and may ask you if you are from Jersey, lol. Syndrome

So, this is pretty close to Windsor Hills?
I'm a PA girl, but I lived and worked in North Jersey for three years. Bagels were great, but the warm roll from the "roach coach" with a ton of butter, now that was breakfast heaven. |
