4 people in an inside stateroom
It will be myself, DH, DD13 and DD4 cruising next summer. At this point I just couldn't bring myself to pay $7300 for a veranda room with murphy bed so I booked an inside stateroom. I was really wanting the murphy bed for my DD13 as she is tall. How uncomfortable/crowded do you think we will all be? I did get a deluxe inside room with 200 sq ft. (Going to keep an eye out for oceanview rooms to open upP.

Do you really spend much time in the cabin other than sleeping? If you do, it might be an issue. If your cabin is really for sleeping and dressing--no problem. We actually prefer the inside cabin to the oceanview on the Fantasy. The virtual porthole is fun.

Well, a stand inside stateroom for two people is $3,250 and a deluxe is $3,306.
Time that by two and it is still cheaper than the $7,300 for a veranda for 4. |

Thanks. I never thought of it that way. That's something to consider for sure.

If you're doing a 7 day cruise, 4 people regardless of age, in an inside stateroom will get old real quick. We did a just 4 day when our girls were younger and I swore never again
. You'd be surprised how much time 4 people spend in the cabin, just getting dressed for dinner, the shows etc. But that's just us each family is different.

I did it!!!
I couldn't find connecting inside rooms last night but looked again today and did! It's crazy that the cost of 2 rooms is only $200 more than if we all 4 stayed in an inside stateroom (higher category).
Woohoo!!! I think this might work out great. Probably will let DD13 kind of have the 2nd room to herself.

We sailed in a verandah since and while I ENJOYED the extra space, it wasn't necessary - if we hadn't gotten such a great deal, I would have happily booked inside. |

That's how we started out Disney cruising career... In an inside cabin with 4 people. We hardly ever spend time in there anyway and as the kids got bigger, they could dress themselves so quite often not all of us were in the cabin at the same time except to sleep.
The only thing I insist on is no deck 2 and we have to have a split bathroom other than that, I'm happy with an inside stateroom. Of course, a balcony is very nice, but we usually are saying that we didn't use it enough by the end of the cruise.
