I have a couple of questions relating to the back to back part of your cruise. We are doing the same back to back in just a few weeks. Did you have the same dining rotation and servers for the 2nd cruise? When you were allowed back on the ship could you go to your room? I'm thinking of doing laundry during that time. Do they restrict where you can go once you get back on the ship?

--We requested the same servers during the first of the two cruises. The head waiter fixed it for us, plus he gave us tables with ocean views for the second cruise. Our assistant waiter told us that the restaurant had actually had to change the serving team's station to accommodate our request (because four more people joined us on the second cruise) and i think it was a little difficult for them, but they made it appear seamless to us.

--we were not allowed into our rooms earlier than others, though we got a note that we would be. But you hardly notice because you don't have to drag carry-ons around the ship. You can't be in your cabin from about 9:00 to 12:00 or 1:00.

--other than going to the staterooms, I did not notice any restrictions on where you can go. We went to the Vista cafe, Starboard on Deck 4, and watched them set up for the arrivals announcements. We also walked outside to the shuffleboard and played for a while and watched people who were preparing to get onboard. this was at about 11:00. We disembarked at 9:00 and were reboarded at 10:15 or 10:30.

So can the arm bands come off or are they forced to wear it the whole cruise? $50 seems crazy for a replacement fee!

It bothered my son and I took it off when he wasn't utilizing the club activities. Some posters suggested that might be a problem, but it worked fine for us. It attaches with a little clip and I requested an extra from my stateroom host. She delivered without any issue.

When I sailed on the Dream, I just had to carry it around with me (until the room was ready).

Yup, be prepared to cart it around w/you. Unfortunately, there's no better answer that I know of.
