BWV self service refillable mugs - The DIS Discussion Forums

So we just got back from our first DVC trip. Wow did we have a great time. We did a split stay with BWV & AKL our only complaint was not having a self service refillable mug station at BWV. For some reason no one was able to point us in the direction of one. Were we just missing it or does BWV not have one? Thanks for any insight into this.

Unless this has changed recently, there isn't one. You can get refills at BoardWalk Bakery, BoardWalk Joes, The BW Pizza Window, Seashore Sweets, and Leaping Horse Libations (pool bar). At each place the CM pours your beverage into a cup which you must in turn put in your mug yourself.

Ok thanks. That was exactly what we ran across while we were there. It was a pain to have someone refill the mug for you.

I think because of the large public access to the resort, they are afraid people would take advantage to help themselves.

Kind of like the Electric Umbrella at Epcot. I bet a lot of soda isn't paid for there.
