Hmmm...it's not a very good marketing tool if they don't tell people about, since most people wouldn't know to ask. I've never gotten anything about discounts after our ABDs. If it's on the website, I couldn't find it. I've already got 3, so I'm voting for buy 3 get the 4th free.

Actually, I think we were told the limit was "within 2 hours"--cutting it close for us if we fly out of LA. But--tufbuf has over 200 miles and a 3 hour drive, so maybe they don't have hard and fast rules about this...(or maybe you can cover 200 miles in two hours out there in the middle of Washington State!)

Don't know if everyone knows about it, but if you don't, it might be helpful if you are planning well in advance. We didn't know, but when the second set of papers came in the email reflecting the lower price... it was a pleasant surprise.

It's not quite 150 miles to Cleveland (2.5 hours). I guess I need to give ABD a call & see what's allowed... Thanks!

The weird thing is, the confirmation documents they sent me had the dates and time of pick up to and from the airport, to and from Seattle. They even have the cost of transfer next to these dates (over $300!) and a note that it's a credit based on the Insiders program. I don't know how or where they based their info since we were dropped off and picked up from our local airport. Plus, we can't book flights that far out yet. I'm sure they will be happy to know we will be flying from and to our local airport, 10 miles away.

Just returned from Backstage Magic and the Guides mentioned the discount to us a couple of times throughout the trip. At the end of the trip, I was given a card with that date on it, and I had 2 weeks from that date to book a trip for a 5% discount. Today, I received a call from ABD to inquire if I wanted to take advantage of the offer - I asked if the discount would also apply to my DH and other DD and DS, not just the DD and I who took the Backstage Magic, and she stated it would only be for the members of our party who took the Backstage Magic trip. I personally think that is dumb...If I had booked on the Fantasy back in June, I would have received 10% off for my whole family, regardless of whether they were on the cruise - 5% is really not much of a deal to begin with, and since only I would get the discount (DD won't be able to go on the next trip) it is not enough of an incentive to get me to book again right away. Once again, it seems their loyalty is a bit messed up - people who have never taken an ABD can get a larger discount and for more people, than those of us who have just returned??

Anyhow, the card stated the program expires the 31st of August, 2012.

tufbuf, where on your documents was the transfer listed? Did it show up right away or after you booked/provided your flight information? I don't see it on my confirmation, but I haven't booked the flight yet. Maybe I'll have to remind them when I call to book the flight.

I haven't booked a flight since the farthest you can book at this time is the first week of July. It's probably a glitch but it's on the last page of the documents.

It's on the last page of the Reservation Confirmation pages. I have two of them (since I had to move the date) and both had the transfer info on them. The first one mentioned our local airport and the other one, the airport 200 miles away.

It definitely wasn't on my paperwork, but I called ABD and they said it was on my reservation, so it must have been added after they sent out the paperwork. So they didn't forget and all is well.

We did get the information on this deal our last day. We were told we are among the last being offered the special, probably because our Adventure ends before 8/31, even though we have beyond 8/31 to re book. I'm unlikely to do it; winter and spring 2013 is completely booked for vacations already, and I can't make any commitments in summer of 2013 as I have a college bound Senior with no idea of the schedule for her future school to which she hasn't yet applied or been accepted!
We got home yesterday, and my TA sent me a message while I was still in the connecting airport that ABD had already contacted her about the deal for us.

We are booked for 2013 and we recieved the "free" ride to and from the airport. But the airport is just 4 miles from our home.

I completed my 4th ABD 7/12/12 and did not receive discount offer to rebook. In the past I have received a notice that if I rebooked within two weeks there was a 5% discount. 5% discount is what AAA offers in January during Disney month soooo they really don't reward loyalty do they?
