Sea World this weekend! Never been

So my sister in law and I just booked a trip down to Sea World in San Diego for the weekend with our daughters. We have never been and I am usually an avid planner. Can you all fill me in on what we should know about Sea World. We got the 3 for 1 pass, includes Sea World and the Zoos.

First thing you should know is that there are three major animal shows to see.

One Ocean - Orcas
Blue Horizons - Dolphins
Sea Lions Live - Seals and Sea Lions.

There are only so many performances per day. So your day needs to be planned around the show times. I recommend going to the Sea World site and looking at the show times there. You can also view the park map and get an idea how to tour the park to make use of your time. With the proper plan, you can view the animal exhibits in between show times.

Oh yeah, and you will want to get to each show about 15-20 minutes early. Don't know what crowds will be like, but stadiums tend to fill up for certain shows. You'll want to be early to the Sea Lion show for sure. Watch the pre-show. Funny.

THANKS! Is the Quick Que worth the money? Is the All Day Dining Deal worth it if you will be there all day?

IMO, the QQ is worth it if there are large crowds and you plan on riding the rides multiple times throughout the day. If you only want to do the rides once, then I wouldn't buy the QQ. Do the rides when you first get to the park. Be there when the park first opens and lines aren't as long then. And just so you know, the QQ only give you one time QQ access to Manta. If you want to ride Manta more than once, ride it first thing and save the QQ for later on in the day when lines tend to get longer.

I've never purchased the ADD, but I am considering it when DW and I go next week.
