Quiet Area on Gulf
We are going to Disney World the last week of October but before Disney, DH would like to go to a quiet beach area on the Gulf coast to just chill for a couple of days. Any suggestions? TIA.

Unless, of course, there is a hurricane.
![]() I also like the Sarasota area, though it has been a while since I've stayed there. We are staying on Longboat Key in December. That gets pretty good reviews. We stayed on Siesta Key one year. There are several threads here about the area. Sheila |

We just returned from a WONDERFUL & beautiful vacation in Fort Walton Beach, FL (right next to Destin) Very quiet and very affordable for a Gulf Front condo. The water and sand we simply breathtaking! We loved it there!

We have rented condos in Bellair Beach twice - just 10 minutes or so south of clearwater, so you can still drive up there. But the beach itself there is practically dead - only a few other vacationers.
