If you could suggest one thing.....

O my husband and I are going to Orlando for a week right after labor day. What is the one thing you would recommend we do while there?

If Barbie is so popular, why do you have to buy her friends?

Food & Wine Festival booths at Epcot!!!

Get to the World Showcase right at 11am on weekdays & zero lines for amazing "little plates" of food from around the word. And some great beers & wines too! There's also a bunch of tastings, classes, etc.

Besides Disney World. Is there anything else in Orlando--Museum? Landmark? Something?

I will be there shortly with my bf as well and would love to find something to do for adults outside of the parks.

I know that this is a tall task in barren Orlando......

There is the ICE BAR on International Drive not far from Tommy Bahama's and Bahama Breeze. $15 cover charge and 45 min to stay and drink in a bar, chairs tables etc made completely of ice!

Actually, there is a ton of stuff to do in Orlando, especially if you head north. If you want some touristy stuff, take an airboat ride just east of Kissimmee or check out the Kennedy Space Center. You have some of the top beaches in the country less than an hour away (for a bit farther drive check out New Symrna, a favorite among locals). The outlets are great (there are two of them). If you enjoy regular shopping, the Florida Mall is HUGE! There is the Amway arena which hosts worldclass concerts. There is also SAC improve theater that is quite well known as is the Bob Carr performing arts center. Downtown Orlando has some wonderful restaurants, as does Winter Park and Longwood (if you are willing to drive a bit). It can also be fun to check out all the Disney themed hotels for a day. Citywalk at Universal has good nightclubs (not all touristy) and downtown Orlando has many evening venues as well.

Check Groupon, you may be able to still get a coupon. We did this last September and it was worth every penny!!
