I've never been to the Conservation Station, but it seems like a cool place to visit! Is it really that far from the rest of the park that the train is totally necessary, or just a part of the Disney theming?

One of these days I'll make it to Conservation Station. The goats are awfully cute, and I think it's one of the only (if not the only) place you can meet Rafiki.

it was a really good restaurant. The drink was delicious I really enjoyed it. Not better than a margarita though.

It is different. You can see a surgery (if they still do that) and see Rafiki and lots of snakes and turtles (behind glass) and then you can go pet goats and see the llamas and hogs or pigs. Fun to check it out. The train ride is fun too.

You should try to make it once. It is a fun place to go and see. I believe it is the only place.

We got there at 10:50. Can’t be late so let’s walk through the fastpass queue.

The baby elephants are so cute! I have a couple pics from my last trip I'll have to try to find. They were playing and rolling on the ground together like puppies.

After our safari we decided to see more animals. We took a trail.


Someone was hiding.


Always look above. You never know what will drop on you.

That was the only gorilla we saw. It did start raining so we stayed in a cave for a few minutes and then proceeded on.

Next we walked over to Asia. It was around noon so we deicded to eat. We went to.


For an appetizer we shared.
Pork Egg Rolls - chili plum dipping sauce $7.99


Our entrees.


Scott:
Kobe Beef Burger - 10 oz grilled American Kobe beef burger, sesame-soy sauce, mayonnaise, crispy shoestring fries. topped with choice of shiitake mushroom & scallion compote or Asian slaw $17.99

Vinny:
Bourbon Chicken - Tempura chicken, carrots, green onions, sweet bourbon sauce $17.99

Both meals were good but I love this burger. The slaw they put on it is so good. It is what I get every time.
Vinny said the chicken was good.

We did get a dessert and I had no adult beverage.

They do not offer a discount for TIW but we did get it for AP or DVC. Can't remember. It was 10% off.
