I'm hoping for a RO discount too-- have gotten one for the last four January trips so keeping fingers crossed for this year too!
I think last year's was released in October though. We may have a couple more months of waiting ahead of us! |

In the past, what kind of RO discounts were offered for mid-January for deluxe resorts? Does it work out to be better than FD? We are hoping for POLY Jan 18-22. Thanks!

We've gotten anything from 30-40% off, I think?

This year it was 35% off Poly in January. But this fall it's only been 20% off Poly.

Anyone remember what kind of RO discounts were offered for Value resorts, particularly Pop Century last Jan? It seems like they are lower than the higher priced resort discounts.

I'd take 20% though! I prefer RO discounts to FD myself-- just makes for sense for my family!

I haven't gone through all of the pages on this thread so someone may have already provided this info...but here's a link someone shared with me earlier today
http://www.mousesavers.com/historica...nts/#codechart This shows the past few years promotions and the dates they were released. I know it doesn't tell us what's coming out for Jan 2013 but it helps us guess when they'll announce it maybe

We have reservations for AoA for Jan 25th thru the 29th. We are flexible & could add a day or 2 if it meant a great promo. Historically it looks like we will qualify...
Thoughts if there will be a min. number of nights for the free dining? Right now you have to stay 6 but I'm pretty sure it's been fewer before. I really want to get the flights booked because I like those prices but would hate to miss a promo by a day or 2. |

I thought you 'usually' had to stay 2 or 3 nights? I'm also getting sick of not booking the flights lol.... It gets more exspensive everyday! And actually it's just silly that I haven't booked yet, because the chances of my dates being included in FD is pretty bad but i'm crossing my fingers and hope for some pixie dust :D

I've seen the room discounts and FD available for 4 and 5 night stays before. Timing the airfare is always the hard part.

Disney likes to "promote" longer stays by running ads for longer amounts of nights, but that is not the actual sale.

I'm the new kid...
Sorry if this doesn't post correctly but here we go!
I will be running in the January half marathon at WDW and I booked my room through RunDisney. They told me I couldn't book a Magic Your Way Package and that I need to book park tickets separately. Which I did. I was also told to wait to book the Dining Plan until "later" but now I am wondering how I can go about booking Free Dining if that becomes available for the dates I am there. Does anyone know how you can apply a discount like Free Dining if you already booked your room with RunDisney?

Also, it appears that FD is not typically offered marathon weekend. Sent from my iPhone using DISBoards

I am so excitied to book and really get into planning. I want to make ADR's I am sure of the dates, but might be able to stretch another night if FD works out. I am pretty sure should I go ahead and make them. Should I go ahead and make them at least? Pleasssssssssssssssssse!!!!!
