Thank you for this new thread Scott MC! I just wanted to point out on page 1 that I don't think it is correct to say that there are no children's items or wine at SL during the 5-7pm Wine and Cheese. Unless I missed something since being there in May. I believe they serve the exact same menu as RPC.
Now a question for you all. I booked BC in October with a BB. We have been going CL lately but do you think it's worth it to do BC CL during F and W? |

That said if you are more comfortable booking it yourself then I would book it on your own to keep from going slight crazy. One thing I have noticed is it appears the CL IPO has some pull or saved reservations. They have booked things for us that were not available on Disney's booking sites. Angel16

I'm kind of a control freak, so I'm going to do it myself so if our IPO isn't able to get it, I won't be saying "I wish I would have done it myself". Trying to move our 7pm ressie for CRT ON THE 12th to closer to 5:00 or 6:00 since we decided to go to MVMCP for sure, but I have the IPO at the Poly checking every day, and I'm checking every day and no luck for about the past month. Oh well! As long as DD gets to see her beloved Princesses and especially the PRINCES, like we did last year, she will be happy!

Has anybody stayed at both and can you convince me Wl Cl will measure up to Poly Cl. We have stayed at both resorts, but only Club level at Poly. I really hated the rooms at Wl so this is also a factor in my descision.Any thoughts on AKl Cl? This will be a first for us. At the moment we are also booked in SV CL room at YC. This is will be our second stay at YC CL. I 'm hoping a GV CL at BC or Yc becomes available before our trip. How bad are the SV views? Anbody? Thanks. |

IHTM- Thanks that makes me feel a little better. LV is available at BC, but I'm trying hard not to spend more. We shall see if I can control myself.
Sue M- Looking forward to your review. I had no idea what to request as far as a room so I requested "close to Lobby". The last time we were there in a non-cl room we were a mile from the lobby. No Joke. I never knew hallways could be so long. |

Has anyone stayed in a YC CL Deluxe room recently and can post pics? I've seen pics of the BC Deluxe room, but can't seem to find any of YC. There is an old thread from 2008 or 2009 with this request, but there aren't any pics on there. I've checked the BC/YC thread, but can't find anything there either. TIA for any info anyone can give
.

Here is the link for the thread that Sue is going to post her live report on. It is an AKL Lite thread. It is a great supportive group of people. We will gladly answer any questions regarding AKL or Kadani. How awesome to have a live report on there. http://www.disboards.com/showthread....6#post45814586 Angel16

Wonderful new thread, Scott MC!!
I've been trying to get some of the Grand info corrected, especially in the following paragraph: The Concierge Lounge is located on the fourth floor. Here, guests may enjoy a continental breakfast from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The continental breakfast includes danish, bagels, cereal, fresh fruits, coffee, tea and juice. "Daily Delights" from 11:30am to 2:30pm (the menu varies daily, but usually includes a meat dish, fruits and a vegetarian dish, including cookies, coffee, sodas and juices). Afternoon tea from 3pm to 4:30pm (includes scones, fruit breads, cookies, jam tarts, and of course, tea). Twilight Refreshments from 5pm to 7pm (includes wine and cheese, with appetizer type dishes served. NOTE: The Sugar Loaf Key Building serves a different Twilight Refreshment service, with no wine or children's items being offered). "Grand Indulgences" (desserts and cordials) from 8pm to 10pm. Other concierge amenities include robes (for use while at the resort). The Sugar Loaf food offerings are exactly the same as RPC and have been for many years now. This is old info that has been floating around the 'net and confusing guests. ![]() The names & times of the various offerings have altered slightly, and there are no "meat and vegetarian dishes" (other than crudites) during the mid-day Refreshments. Not sure how long ago that was accurate! ![]() Thanks for starting the new thread. I know it's time consuming going through all the info, just wanted to alert you to the changes.

I was happy to read this post, as DD and I have a SV CL room booked at YC next week. Can't upgrade due to the discount or I would book a GV CL room. I've been wondering what type of view we would get, my only request to IPO was "near the lounge"!
