The Culinary Demos usually include wine, but, of course, Disney checks IDs and does not serve to anyone under 21. There is no reduction in price for a minor. (In some cases, the minor's wine glass is served to a parent who then gets to enjoy a little extra wine.) I think most young children would be bored by the Culinary Demo, but some teenagers would find them interesting and would enjoy the food.

I read a post on the DVC boards where someone was told by the CM that Friday they would open at 8 AM to take reservations for Food and Wine Seminars and demos. |

Thanks! Guess I'll be calling in at 5:00am with everybody else for 7:00 am EST ...I can imagine the Robert Irvine seminar will be sold out during that 1 hour gap!

Probably asked But I'm on call this week and with my fried brain didn't see it- is it possible to do a 5p culinary demo and a 6p mixology on the same day?

Demos last around 45 minutes. That gives you about 15 minutes to leave the Culinary Demo area and get in line at the Beverage Seminar area where the Mixology sessions are also held. The Festival Center where both are located is the old Wonders of Life pavilion. It's not that big. There will already be a line, but many guests wait until the last minute to get in line because there's really not much advantage to sitting close to the front.

booked!
Wow...one of the best experiences I've had calling Disney! The CM was awesome and we got the two demos we wanted !!
Phone was answered immediately at 7...hopefully Tuesday goes as smoothly!! She said that the website to book online isn't up and running yet...the site to book the CP at Christmas was two hours late to get up and running, and they are hoping to have the glitches fixed prior to 7am on Tuesday! Fingers crossed! Good luck everyone!

Already? My mom called twice and was told both times that no one can book until August 14th, even annual passholders. I read in PP's that we're not able to book until 8 so we will try again then.

Wow -- I had a great experience as well. Very friendly and efficient CM. Booked Cat Cora, Jacques Torres, and a Moet & Chandon beverage seminar.
She said we can only book seminars and demos right now (good confirmation), but can book for all days of the week. Got my discount, as expected, on the Mon-Thurs events. Last edited by AJW; 08-10-2012 at 06:54 AM. |

Trying to book Gale Gand on 10/27. CM says she has no name for the 5pm demo, but she has Gale for 3pm, conflicting info than on the schedule. Still on hold until she figures it out.

I think this was asked but I haven't seen an answer. If the same company is presenting multiple days for the mixology seminars, do they make the same drinks?
