Paying for Dining with Disney GC?

Is it possible to pay our dining plan when we book it with a Disney GC when I call member services?
It isn't an option for payment on the website.

I was hoping to take advantage of the incentives I get from buying the gc at our local store. My daughter gets 5% directly to her drill team account and you get 2-4x the fuel points. So for 3 seperate reservations that total 2500.00. That is 125.00 to her drill team account and a lot of savings on gas.

Hope it works out for me to do that.

Yes, MS can take Disney Gift Cards as payment for the Dining Plan.

I did this for a reservation last year. That poor cast member had to listen to me read about 20 gift card numbers over the phone. It worked, though, and he was very nice about it.

One of the questions I had when I started looking at DVC was if you could pay MF with gift cards. And yes you can. So I buy them when our store offers .20 fuel perks. That is a 6.00 discount off the card and I get 2% Disney rewards. They are having the back to school promo right now. Cool. And since I do not carry a balance on my CC this is a great extra discount.

OKay, awesome!!! Then that is what I will do. Yes, it is a great discount for me on both ends, the drill team and the fuel rewards. Our local Kroger does not have the 4x fuel points right now....but they do have the combined fuel points to get up to 2.00 off your gas at one time. 5,000 points counts as 2 - 2.00 off fill ups and 1 - 1.00 off fill up!!
