Really hope that you get this all sorted soon. I'm just trying to get Disney to fix a problem with retrieving our booking and that's bad enough. Good luck and PD

I have just spoke to Disney it's all sorted now but we are back in Port Orleans apparently they can't offer us SSR at the discount price yet I was told I could in the email! I don't want to argue with them any more I just want to look forward to our holiday again!

Glad you got something sorted it's not the resort you wanted but you'll spend so much time in the parks it won't matter so much. Seeing elsie dressed up will be worth it no matter where you stay xx

Hi
Im really pleased that you have it all sorted out again,Even if its not exactly what you wanted Like everybody has said going at all is better then not.... I know how it felt to think that you dont have a holiday after looking forward to it. It was so frustrating trying to get everything sorted and all the back and forth that we had to do at one time Disney said they had NO resorts that would be able to accomadate us for the entire length of stay and that we would have to do a split BUt if we did a split then we would lose the DDP and i knew that it would cost us a fortune with 3adults and 3kids plus we wouldnt even of been able to get the QS plan!! I was so upset everyday and even though in the end it cost us £720 to buy more flights after we had to move our dates because of DH work i was relieved to be going,FOr all that time though the new cases and all the boys new holiday clothes was sat in bags in our room just looking at them made me cry! We have had to change around our whole holiday as we was doing Universal 1st wk then doing Disney the next 2 wks....But because SSR was completly booked for what would have been our last wk we had to do Universal 1st so our Universal hotel stay went up buy £600 because it was Universal horror nights and so close to Halloween plus flaming half term for different parts of England Scotland Wales bumped the Universal stay up so much we got priced out and we can now only really afford 1 night maybe 2 at a push their instead of all 6 but Im just pleased we are at least still going i would have stayed ANYWHERE even a box I have finally managed to start getting excited again now the Operation is over although this infection is trying to stop me healing i would literally have to be strapped to the bed to stop me going now .We have now decided that we will do 3 nights at AOA after our SSR stay instead of going straight to I-drive and we will do MNSSHP the 1st night of the AOA stay instead of doing it during the 2wks at SSR like we planned then we will get the I-RIDE trolley bus or Lynx not sure which one it is yet, i know it will take a little while but Dh does not drive yet (YES at 31 and in the RAF he does not drive, and because of the major head surgery im not allowed to drive for 3 months ) from DTD to get to Universal so we can do the park for a few hours in the morning then shop at Wallmart in the afternoon getting a Taxi back, then the same the next day. It will be sooo amazing to see your little girls excitment and how adorable she will look all dressed up that you wont care if your sleeping in a tent at the end of the day! As for the DDP will you upgrade now or will it be too much? Did you still get the GC with your booking if you did you could add a little extra to it and then use this to pay off any TS/Character meals that you may want to go to?. was there a reason you wanted to stay at SSR over Port orleans? Port orleans is ment to be beautiful have you stayed there before? or was it because you could get the free DDP/was SSR cheaper. xxx |

We just love SSR we have stated there twice and it's so handy being so close to DTD using the buses to get to the hotels as we have a lot of ADRs at the different hotels.
The extra space is nice an having a full fridge, microwave and toaster is nice. We still have time to upgrade so I'm not too worried at the moment. |

We had some issues when booking our accommodation for next year. I can recommend sending an email to the Directors (e.g. Robert Iger Cheif Exec WD, or Justin Kliger, Head of Travel WDTCUK - google for the email details). We had a response within 30 mins and everything was sorted to our satisfaction.
Was a shame it didn't go smoothly to start with as we have a very tense week, but we are very happy now it's sorted.
