Thank you so much . I have printed this out and will keep in my bag. I need to show my family that this is good/accurate information, not just some crazy theory I have .

Question: Is there an entrance to the Paradise Pier section of the park from Pacific Wharf near Cocina Cucamonga? On the park map it looks like there may be by "N" at Pacific Wharf. Can someone confirm this? This would be a nice shortcut from CL to PP.

DCA Map
Also, it appears there is a 3rd DCA entrance (besides the main entrance and the GCH entrance) to the right of Soarin' on that map. Is that right?

What's wrong with the Grand park entrance?

Even more than that, the GCH entrance to DCA has historically been a very effective way for Disney hotel guests to get a jump on DCA from those at the main turnstiles who are not Disney hotel guests.

In the case of EMH to DCA, everyone (except for APEE which are fewer in number) is a Disney hotel guest - by definition. Thus the special entrance becomes a liability rather than an advantage because it is a bottleneck compared to the main gates who allow the Disney hotel guests in faster.

As soon as EMH changes over to not being every morning (on October 1?) then the GCH entrance will be best on non-EMH days and the main gates best on EMH days.

So if RSR isn't working when the park opens for EMH (which seems to be often), when/how do they tell you? Do you have to walk all the way to the ride before you find out or do they announce it before rope drop?

Some have reported signage that RSR was not operating, along with CMs verbally telling guests about RSR being down. However, I was there last week and one morning RSR was not up. There were no signs and no one told us, so we went all the way to RSR where they made an announcement. So, I would ask.

Hydro...I thought the EMH was going back to a variable day schedule after September 29th, 2012, some days DL, some days DCA?

Just answered my own question...from Disneyland.com

"Starting September 30, registered Resort hotel Guests will have Extra Magic Hour access to one park according to the early admission schedule."

When the rides were down and the waits were "short" (45 min-over an hour) before they started up again, we were told when we lined up for the ride. When the rides were down until 10am, we were told right before the countdown at the gates.
