I like the second better too. I think it may need some more color? Switch the black mats for yellow? and maybe some of the white for red?

this might be a stupid question but do we glue down the 4X6 black mats or do most people simply remove them to put their photos. I usually don't put mats unless is to double mat something and want a nice border around the pictures. Seems like a waste of paper to simply put 4 X 6 pieces that will be covered by photos.

Sandy, I don't mat my photos usually either. But in this case I believe that the photo mats are supposed to be glued down as a guide to place pics. I plan on making my mats 4 1/4x6 1/4 at least to give a border.
