New! Pg 26! May 2013 - The Nolonger Tickerless, disorganized PTR. FINALLY GOING HOME!
we haven't booked yet. (Don't think we can book even, for a few more months..... )
BUT. DH has worked out the budget. He's used the website to plan a trip, figure the cost.... and, unless things take a tragic turn for the worst... We'll be going home in May of next year! Excited doesn't quite cover it. You wouldn't think going two years in a row... then not being able to go one year would affect someone! I certainly didn't..... But. Apparently, I was wrong. I've resorted to drooling over Disney food pictures/Tumblrs.... and basically, Tumblr has sustained my Disney obsession. It's sad, but true. So, of course, I've been sucked in and influenced by you lovely people here - and I'm dying to start planning! So, if anyone cares to follow along, that's fantastic. If not, I'm sure I'll keep myself plenty amused here...   Cast: Per usual, just myself (26) and DH. (24)  Not a Disney picture, but poor thing was sick all last visit.... so I won't post those again!For anyone who doesn't know us - we've fallen in love with AKL, he's fallen in love with WDW more than he expected... we're both coffee snobs (boo, nescafe.) He's a musician, I'm a barista, and we're nerds and talk to the characters. Seeing Stitch is a must, Aladdin and Jasmine now are as well.... and the both of us have no problem suspending the disbelief for a week.  Not entirely sure how I'll be organizing the PTR yet. Off to stalk some others here.....

Celebratory question... a CM named Ares told us.... Oh, look. Another dilemma.... Cast member cards? ADR's made.....save one..... *** new!! Shopping List!

Okay. I have this crazy idea, that I'd love some DIS input on.
It's half inspired by all the people who make 'birthday' videos, or something like that with the face characters , rather than autographs/pictures. The other half is inspired by a magic moment I had with Aladdin & Jasmine. If you want the details, its in my previous TR, but long story short, they discussed my brain condition with me, were super sweet, and I almost cried. I shared the story with my hydrocephalus support group at home- everyone loved it. Especially the moms with kids who have it. My idea....is instead of doing autographs and a picture, maybe briefly explain the condition, and have the character record a very short video saying hello, or something sweet or encouraging. Lots of kids get to do Make a Wish , but not everyone who has it meets that criteria. And how many kids can say their favorite character knows what their brain condition is? Right now, its just an idea. I've got months to flesh it out...maybe think of examples if characters are stuck.. going to ask some CM friend's opinion as well. I just figure, it meant so much to me, at 26... What would it mean to younger kids? And I've met most of the characters already, so, why not share the magic?

Kinda turned this PTR into my own personal scratch pad... Sorry about it.
I'm all restless. Not much planning to do until we actually book, I suppose. Then, we can figure out what parks are what day... But, then the ADRs and tour availability will possibly change all of that.... Sigh. How do you people do it-- planning so early?! Also, I'm somewhat out of shape. Starting to work out again....otherwise the walking will kill me.

Hey! Didn't realize you had started a new PTR, I'll be following along on this one too!
I know the harsh feeling of not having a trip planned. We weren't supposed to go this year and we totally caved! I was already starting to plan for a 2015 trip!
