Small update and the 100 Disney Foods to Eat Before You Die Challenge

Small update! My Disney maps came in the mail the other day AND I ordered a small lot of 25 trading pins from ebay And just when I though it couldn't get any better.........I had to run to Target today to pick up a few things. I was pleasantly surprised to find that there is a new Disney clothing line that they are carrying! I picked up a tank top for myself (Big Bad Wolf...I wanted Bambi but they didn't have my size ), a tank top for B (Dumbo. I wish she would have picked the Minnie Mouse...I may have to get it next time if it's still in stock ) and a tee for J (Grumpy). I would have picked one up for L3, but he has been so picky with clothes lately. They also had it available in toddler girls/boys and baby girls/boys- I didn't buy I* anything since she already has a few outfits from Etsy. I will take pictures of everything once I get the last Etsy package...should be here soon I should have checked to see if they had any men's tees! Just another reason to go back

Anywho...I came across this list while doing my daily Disney research. It's the "100 Disney Foods to Eat Before You Die Challenge." Challenge accepted!!! The foods in red are the ones I have already tried. The foods in blue are the ones I hope to try in August!

51 – 75 – Disney Foodie – You have been around the park. You know what you like and try to get out and try new things all the time. You probably blog about Disney or fill your Facebook wall with articles from Chip and Co or Disney Food Blog

76 – 100 – Disney Food Addict – Someone get this person a Dole Whip cause you have earned it! You are the Elite! People come to you when they have food questions. We need for you to join us on the site and blog about Disney Food for a living!

20...I feel like such a failure and am embarrassed to call myself a WDW fanatic Good things is after August- I shall be a "Disney Foodie In Training." My new goal in life is to become a "Disney Food Addict"- although I thought I was already

But I miss my DH, we work opposite shifts, so these minitrips are so valuable...however, DMIL has never had the kiddos for 3 nights...she may not want to do this again
We have never had anything from the MS Bakery...just another thing to add to my list And I can definitely relate to you- where we go, our kids go They have never had a babysitter (other than their grandparents, and that doesn't happen very often- my ILs are in FL and my parents are in WA)!

Wow! That's pretty cool! I'm a picky eater so I fall even shorter than you

I'm sure you will have fun trying all the new foods during your trip!

My fiance is super excited to try the big turkey leg on our trip. That is like one of the main things he talks about...

Yes, I am picky as well- so sadly I will never eat everything on that list. Anything that is exotic or seafood is OUT! I'm sure he'll love the turkey leg...don't forget to take pictures, they make a great photo op

We had a babysitter for a year, but I used her only for work about once a month..she watched them in November, it was expensive, but they had a ball with her..MIL is watching them for the 1st time...fingers crossed. Our sitter graduated college in May Definitely put MS bakery on the list!!!!

Same with me...Exotic and Seafood are definitely OUT!

I will definitely be taking tons of photos! I'm in charge of the camera and my fiance is in charge of our brand new video camera!

It's the Disney Artist Collection for Target. If your MIL knows that you love Disney...I'm sure she's already seen it and scooped it all up! And I'm sure you'll be adding to your Food Challenge count by your next trip...all the more reason to go back to WDW

I'll be looking forward to the pictures (and video would be great too) I still need to find mine from a few years ago...if I'm brave I'll post it

Oh no...another ADR!

Just when I thought I was done I booked H&V Play n Dine breakfast on our Hollywood Studios day (Thursday, 8/30), mainly for the littles. I just know that they'll have fun with Oso, June, Handy Manny and Jake And the older kids always appreciate a good buffet I hope I'm not overdoing it...we'll be eating dinner there the same night for Fantasmic! seats. We've eaten dinner there before, but never breakfast. I'm actually looking forward to it! And it will get us into the park before opening (8:00 am, HS opens at 9:00 am) so hopefully we won't take too long and get a head start on the rides.

I also received a photopass in the mail today (I guess that's the extent of my "Mickey Mail" since I only booked a room- we are using Armed Forces Salute tickets, will be driving to WDW and are not on the DDP). I'm thinking about pre-ordering the Photopass + though...I need to make up my mind soon because I need to do it at least 14 days before our trip

What makes the Photopass worth all the money?? Am I missing something?

It's only worth it if you use it. Yes it is pricey, but we take as many pictures as we can with the PP photographers. I know we can ask them to take pictures with our own camera but I love the magic shots they take. And I also love that you can edit and add disney borders, etc. We'll be doing BBB and they have PP photographers there. We are also doing Akershus, but the prints already come with the price of the meal. My kids usually like to purchase the ride photos, so if we do get PP+ we will take full advantage of it!

Yay for Mickey Mail...H&V buffet was my DHs favorite BTW. Not so crowded, yummy food, and TSM FP at 9am

I am sure they will have fun. My DD7 said to me that Gramma is bringing marshmallows so DH & I are allowed to go to the WL campfire

And I agree, Gramma probably bought out most of the collection for back to school already

I'm gonna try to get my foodie on this trip. When it's hot I don't eat much...but there's snacks & desserts

That makes sense for your family for sure then !!! . I guess I'm lucky enough at my dad is coming with us and is an amazing photographer.

Awesome...I cannot wait to hear the reviews of all the snacks and desserts you try (always looking forward to adding on to my challenge list )! And you don't have to share them with the kiddos...jealous!

That is awesome I am the "photographer"- and I use that term loosely - so it always helps when there is a third party willing to take a picture of all of us
