We booked for June at the end of March. I didn't check the DIS until about 5:30 and there were posts that reservations had just opened shortly before I checked. We must've been among the first to book because our table was right in the front

I only know if it being in the afternoon. I'm not saying it can't be in the morning, but I think typically it is the afternoon.

Anxiously waiting for October to open, along with many others...

Quick question. Does the time that you choose matter in terms of where you sit and the view? From looking at the online registration, there are seatings at 7pm, 8pm and 9pm for a day with a 9pm fireworks show. I'm not sure going two hours early is a good idea for our kids. If we do an 8pm and take time to relax and eat a lot of sugar before bedtime, are there any downsides?

We are hoping for October 3rd as well. It is our DD third birthday. Perfect end for our DD's day.

I'm curious about this as well. I can't imagine hanging out for 2 hours eating dessert before the fireworks. I will be going for the 8pm seating.

For those who have done this before what do you suggest?

The party begins one hour before Wishes. The calendar lists all those times because Wishes is held at different times during the year. I believe once October opens it will only list the time comparable to when Wishes is held (for example, if Wishes is at 10, the party time will be 9 - or sometimes it lists 9:10 or 9:20.) Basically, everyone can get in an hour before, but people do line up about 20-30 minutes before that. Where you're seated is based on how early you book after the dates open, not on the time you choose. We've gone 3 times and it's great! Have fun!!

Just booked our party of 9 for 9/17! I was thrilled since I had been unable to get a reservation prior to today. Can't wait to surprise some family!

I'm waiting for November as well. Last year I was the first to call because I had the front row first table. Hoping to be as lucky this year. Taking my DD this time.

Will be watching this tread.

Oh and I made the reservations around 10:30 right when they opened up.
