When you arrive, go to the Podium at the restaurant and they can give you a reservation, or tell you what the wait time will be for a table.

We dined there on 4/17 and liked it a lot.
We were able to make reservations up in the front of Sea World, not Guest Services, but the place you go to buy the all-day-dining deal & to get the bracelets for the Quick Que. I was standing in line for the bracelets and the person in front of me inquired about reservations for Shark's Grill. They said as long as your party was under 6 you did not need to go to the podium. So we made our ressies there. Not a large menu, but we all found something we liked. DH had the shrimp cocktail & had mushrooms for appetizers. For entrees: me filet mignon, DH Shrimp Alfredo, DS10 steak kabobs (a special that day), DS7 children's grilled chicken. Food was good, not 5 star, but we weren't expecting that. We all cleaned out plates. DS7 had dessert: Gummy Shark Sundae. Total bill was about $125 before tip - we had a 10% off coupon. Kids were totally enthralled with the sharks & fish in the tank! They sat for a good hour and didn't want to leave. It was nice to sit & relax. Our server was very nice (although she made a mistake on the bill - not in our favor, that I caught). We would go again! |

Resurrecting this thread; great info on here! Has anyone been here recently?
SW will only be open 9-6 the day we're going (Nov 10); should we be sure to have a reservation or is that a slower time of year? Can you make them in advance or only when you get to the park? It will just be the 2 of us. Anyone know if any coupons I could bring with me? AAA maybe?

How can I make a reservation for Sharks? I can't seem to locate a dining reservation phone number?

When we ate there you couldn't call for reservations. You had to be in the park and go to the podium at Guest Services to make a reservation on a first come, first serve basis.

It is what it is...an overpriced theme park, dining experience. I also think Sharks beats Coral Reef for atmosphere. The aquarium at the bar is also pretty cool. I've eaten there a few times, had one great meal, three or four average ones. The only discounts offered are for Passholders or the Friends and Family Pass. No AAA discount. However they do have Prix Fixe Holiday Meals that are usually a decent deal, considering you're in a theme park.

We have eaten there twice at lunch. Never had to wait more than 10 minutes. For affordability, and a healthier alternative, I order the Caesar salad for $6 and add chicken for $6 more. Perfect amount and cool. They serve nice bread free at the beginning. Our kids love sitting next to the tank and they get wiki stix to play with!
