Problem with DIS app?
Is anyone else having trouble with the DIS app? Every time I try to open it, I get stuck in a never-ending "Loading..." pattern. This might have happened after I declined that automatic pop-up that invited me to rate the app on iTunes. I know, I know. What was I thinking? Well, I was thinking that I wanted to take my time and write a thoughtful review. And now I can't do anything.
Anyone have any suggestions? |

I haven't had any issues and have declined rating other apps before. Perhaps you can delete it and reinstall it?

Sounds like an internet connection issue and not an app issue, if the app had been working.

I don't think it's an Internet connection issue. No other apps have problems, and I can connect via Safari. I might try re-installing.

Mine was doing the same thing yesterday, I just deleted it and reinstalled the app

That goes directly to the folks supporting the app. |

Sorry for any confusion. It is the DISboard app that I'm having problems with. I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling. Hopefully, that will fix the problem, whatever it is.

I have had the same problem. So far I have had to delete and reinstall it 3 times. This has occurred at different locations including home, so I know it is the app's problem not the connection problem. Hope it can be fixed

I put it down to the boards 'being slow' rather than a problem with the actual app

I have to disagree Luke. This is definitely an app problem. It works if you reinstall it, but that is annoying. I look forward to an update to fix whatever the problem is.

I get a connection error message when I view photos in the app but usually the picture comes up any way. I haven’t had problems with it loading.
I can say that I am very thankful they released the app. Even with a few bugs to work out it is still an excellent way to surf the boards....So much faster than going through a web browser

When I get the "Logging in..." message that just sorta hangs I do this: (iPhone) Exit back to te home screen. Then double click the home button to pull up the most recent apps list. Tap and hold on the App until the red X's appear. Touch the X on the Dis App located in the recently used list ONLY to close it out. Now click the Home button again. Now open the Dis App and it should go thru ok. This also works when Words w Friends hangs, Facebook, etc, lol. I think it forces a restart of he app. Good luck!

Neds. That is an interesting tip. If I have the problem again, I'll give it a try. Thanks. (I solved the problem this time by reinstalling the software.)
