It's weird because I love vacations and enjoy the planning and don't stress too much because I do so much planning. But clearly it comes out in my dreams! I had another about V&A last night. They put us at a round table with no linens, bad chairs, and out in a concrete hallway. Then a big spider thing was biting me. DH got a kick out of that dream because just before I went to bed, I made him kill a spider

Well, tomorrow we arrive at CSR and BWV is next week! I'll post a review when I return.

You have a king sized bed in the master bedroom. In the second bedroom you have the double sized sleeper sofa and queen sized bed. There will be linens for the sleeper sofa (and they should already be on the sleeper sofa - the pillows and blankets will be tucked into a storage spot in the sleeper sofa). The living room will have the queen sized sleeper sofa with the blankets and pillows in the storage spot in the sleeper sofa.

Thanks for the tips!! Also, my husband just called the Boardwalk directly and here's what he found out - we can just call down to housekeeping when we get there and they can provide additional pillows and blankets... and even box fans!!

Gosh was I excited to hear this, we don't have to pack extra stuff, and we don't need to make a separate trip to Walmart while we're there!

to the DIS and the BWI thread, weeniecat2442. While the Garden Suites are in a separate location from the CL lounge, I think you're going to like having all that room and your own private entrance and 'yard.'

We really enjoy walking to Epcot to eat, but I've heard great things about Kouzzina. Maybe you could eat there or at the YC or BC? I hope you have a great vacation!

Yeah for adding more nights. Besides the pool, you have the arcade and you could also go to Fantasia Gardens mini golf which is close by. Here are the directions:

ON FOOT: From Disney's BoardWalk Resort, cut through the resort lobby to the Boardwalk. Turn left and continue to the end between Atlantic Dance and Jelly Rolls Piano Bar. Cross the bridge toward the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin and continue straight ahead to the street. Fantasia is on the left and the tennis courts are on the right. (If the big tent is set up, guests may walk through the tent.)

You won't have enough time to do all the fun.

During the day, you have the pools. Lots of great dining and drinking within walking distance. There is miniature golf over at the Swan & Dolphin. I love the boat rides around the lake as well. At night, there are the free entertainment shows on the boardwalk. So much fun. And, the entertainers walk around the Boardwalk, so you don't have to move very much. Then, there are the paid entertainment like Jelly Rolls. We usually do parks every other day at WDW, and there is always so much to do. You also have the nightly fireworks that you can see from the bridge.

Ya know, I've wondered the same thing! In fact, when we stayed CL last summer, I befriended Jackie, who works in the Inkeeper's Club. I emailed her recently to ask the same question! She had no idea, but when we go back next month, I intend to go on a quest to find out! I'll report my findings here.

Thanks for the help. My main issue is that looking at photographs, I can tell that they're pretty much the rooms over Seashore Sweets and Boardwalk Bakery. The problem is that there are a total of 12 balconys, not 10...and of those on the 4th floor (where we'd prefer to stay), 2 don't have an awning. Between the hot August sun and the occasional rain storm, it'd be pretty inconvenient not to have some sort of protection. One of my fondest memories of our last BWI stay, was standing out on our balcony (CL, room 4223), and watching a pretty intense thunder/lightning storm that more than rivaled Illuminations, light up the sky over the Beach Club, Yacht Club and Dolphin. It'd be a shame to think we wouldn't be able to do that again this year if we had no overhead protection.

Woo hoo! You're going to love it. The cottages are so cute! I don't want to be a Debbie Downer, but you do realize that the garden suites only have one bed right? They will sleep a total of 4, but 2 will have to sleep on a pull-out sofa bed. If I'm correct, on the main floor, there's a 1/2 bath, couch, coffee table, chair, armoire with TV, and kitchenette. Upstairs, there's a full bath and a king bed with another TV/armiore.

My favorite restaurants at BWI are Kouzzina for breakfast, and Flying Fish for dinner. I also enjoyed drinks at Leaping Horse Libations (at the pool) and the Belle Vue Lounge. Plus, staying CL, you'll get to head up to the lounge, and sip lovely cordials while watching Illuminations if you so choose!

There is? I didn't know that. Good to know too, since we will have two days when we don't go into the parks either.

Other things to do is to take the bus to Downtown Disney. You can check out the shops, go to Disney Quest, rent some boats, parasail. You can also hotel hop. It's fun to check out some of the other resorts on the property.

We walked over there from Boardwalk. I don't remember how we got there, but we walked down to the S&D, laid in the hammocks for a bit, and then I crossed the street. It is Fantasia mini golf. They have one side of the course with Mickey obstacles. It is an easier but fun course. Then, the other side has putting with sand traps and water hazards (more difficult). We do the easy side. They really have it themed very well. They were also very patient with my dds who believe the putter should be swung like a driver. Many golf balls were lost that day.

With DVC resorts, they aren't as generous with extra pillows, blankets, etc because it is a timeshare. And while the person your husband talked to may have said they were the Boardwalk, they were probably a Disney call center not even located at the resort. Just like calling the front desk from your room. You get a call center.

Oh Fantasia! Duh, I thought it was another course that was associated with the S&D. I keep forgetting how close Fantasia is to those two hotels.

So I just changed my resort from AKV to BWV b/c our cousins can only book the Dolphin and we wanted to be closer to them .

We stayed at BWV last February vacation but my boys didn't love it. They were really looking forward to staying at AKV. Are there any fun kid activities that I missed out on. My boys will be 6 and 7 when we go. Last year we roasted marshmallows at the pool, hung out on the boardwalk and they did the Pirate cruise at the YC.

Any suggestions????
