Dine with shamu.... news?

So sad there is still no news on when this is coming back... we missed out on this 2 years ago.... and were hoping that it would be back in August. Ive emailed Seaworld a couple of times to ask, and they keep saying to check their website.

Think we will only get Seaworld tickets if this is back on.

Anyone got any inside info please..... mid to end of Aug....thanks

There are some hopeful signs that point to Dine With Shamu coming back in the near future. For starters, the Dine with Shamu area has been re decorated including a new dine with shamu sign that hangs on the building. And according to some Seaworld facebook fans, as of last week the whales have been re introduced to the Dine With Shamu pool which had been under construction for quite some time. Trainers were doing training sessions with the whales in the Dine With Shamu pool. This can only mean that the pool is complete and now its a matter of getting the whales used to the pool again. I would say you may get to see Dine With Shamu in August. Fingers crossed.

Dine with Shamu is now available. You can make reservations online. It is $49.00 for adults and $24.00 for children 3-9.

Thank you! Just booked our family for 8/13.

Interestingly, I first called, thinking I may be able to get a AAA discount if I did it over the phone (I couldn't see anywhere to enter AAA online). The agent told me they aren't set up to book Dine wiht Shamu yet and suggested that I call back in a couple of weeks. So I hung up the phone, went online and booked it. No problem. I'd rather get a good seat at the show than wait for a 10% AAA discount - it only would have saved me $17 anyway. Can't wait for the show!

how do you ensure good seats?

also on a UK site/forum, it suggests that you also get reserved seating for the actual shamu show.
Does anyone know if this is correct.

looks like the meal will be a late lunch at 2.45pm........

I think the reserved seating was for the old show. It will be a brand new show because the old dine with shamu was themed off of the old Shamu show "Believe" the new Dine With Shamu is themed after the new Shamu show "One Ocean." I have heard that the new Dine With Shamu is different than the old show. So you might not get the reserved seating anymore. That may have just been a perk of the old show. As far as ensuring good seats, the reservations are first come first serve. So the earlier you get your reservation booked at the reservation desk for now or online in the future, the better.

ALL BOOKED thanks.... not sure how far in front we were with the booking... like 20th out of 30 or 1st out of 50.... but hey its booked... and we are excited. Fingers crossed we get a good seat. Friends did this a few years ago and didnt rate it... mainly *** they were sitting right at the back, and they couldnt get very good pictures or hear the trainer.

As of right now, yes, 2:45 is the only seating time.

there are only a few weeks between now and 19th august online, i rang and they said it is a soft opening and new dates maybe added
