Flying out of Burbank Airport?

I'm looking at BUR's website and it seems like an easy, small airport. How far in advance you you recommend arriving?

We're used to MCO & Philly where 2 hrs seems just right if we want time to grab a snack.

Our hotel is 2 miles from BUR but their shuttle doesn't start running until 5:30am and our flight is at 7:00am. The hotel's website estimates a 5 min. drive. Even if it took 15 mins, we'd arrive 1hr 15 mins prior. Would that be enough time to check our bags & get to the gate?

We could always call a cab if we had to but I'm curious if the shuttle is even worth attempting.

I use Burbank almost exclusively. An hour fifteen should be fine.

I don't blame you. Looks like a great little airport. Reminds me of ours in Atlantic City. Easy in, easy out.
