Off to see Mickey MEOWS and Snow WIPE again! Another Anderson family Adventure! Nov 2012 PTR
Words cannot even begin to explain how excited and happy I am to be here on the Dis-boards again. It’s been a REALLY long time! I hope to see a lot of old friends and meet even more new ones!:Since I’m here that means I have OFFICALLY received the GREEN LIGHT from my husband to start planning our Disney Trip!! I did however have to agree that I would get myself in shape and would stick to a very tight budget up until the time we leave. I think these two requests are very reasonable and I am more than happy to oblige. WHO Me: (Deanna) 33 years Old. Stay at home Mom. This will be my 8th visit to WDW if my calculations are correct. The first time was for my high school graduation gift back in 1996 and the last time was back in February of 2010. DH and I also got married at the POLY back in 2001. As a matter of fact tomorrow June 14th is our 11 year anniversary!!!! Happy Anniversary Honey… I LOVE YOU!!!!!![]() ![]() ((Sorry No recemt pictures of me for the time being)) DH: (Will) 36 years old. Investment Broker/loving husband and father. Loves Disney as much as I do, but will never admit it to his buddies. As far as they are concerned it’s all about Football, Red Meat, and Cars! Grrrrrrrrr!![]() DD: (Reya) 6 years old. Sweetest little girl you’ll ever meet. She wears her heart on her sleeve and will befriend anybody! This can be both a good and a bad thing. She just graduated from kindergarten a few weeks ago and is excited to start 1st grade at a new school this August. This will be her 3rd visit to WDW.![]() DS: (Jayden) 2 years old: Hmmmmm, how to describe Jayden??? He’s a loud, obnoxious, exhausting, rambunctious little boy to say the least. I love him to death, but he’s going to be the death of me, I just know it. Trying to keep up with him, keep him out of trouble, and keeping him safe is a FULL TIME Job. This will be his second visit to WDW… The first time he was only 3 months old. ((Wow, I miss those days when I could place him somewhere and he’d just stay)) Most moms can’t wait for their kids to start walking, NOT me! He has recently fallen in love with Mickey Meows and anything to do with Cars. ![]() ![]() Up Next…….. What,Where,When,Why andHOW! Ohhhhh, I forgot to mention…. I LOVE posting Pictures! Please be prepared for tons of past Disney Photos. I love to post them during my PTR’s so I can reminisce. Hope nobody has a problem with that. ![]() Last edited by reyasmommy; 06-13-2012 at 07:19 PM. |

When
November 10th-24th November 10th- Drive (Stop in St. Louis for the night) November 11th- Drive (Stop in Atlanta for the night) November 12th,13th,14th- Disney November 15th,16th,17th- Disney Cruise on the DREAM November 18th,19th,20th,21st – Disney November 22nd- Drive home (Stop in ? ) November 23- Drive home (stop in ?) November 24th- Home Some might think we’re crazy for driving 1800 miles to Orlando, but we’re used to it by now. Almost every trip we take involves a Road Trip. We just bought a fully loaded minivan a couple of months ago, so hopefully the ride will be smooth and the kids will behave most of the way with the built in DVD player??((One of my favorite Road Trip Pictures… how cute are they?)) ![]() And this is why we normally Road Trip it… I pack WAYYYYY to much! ![]() ![]() This will also be the first time that we’re doing strictly DISNEY!! Normally we add a few days and visit Universal Studios and Seaworld. I’m a little bummed that we’ll be missing the new Harry Potter area at IOA, but it was between spending extra days at other parks or taking a mini cruise. For me it was pretty much a no-brainer. DH and I cruised on the wonder 11 years ago for our Honeymoon, so I’m super excited to see the new Dream! I’ve bought 6 day base Park Tickets. Since it’s November I don’t see us doing a lot of park hopping? Up Next: Where did we get reservations. ((Fyi, I’ve stayed off site the last 3 visits))

Hubby is at a Rockies Game right now and I'm at home with the kiddos... YAY! Happy anniversary to me!! That's okay though we had a few hours to ourselves last weekend and got to have a lovely Dinner and Movie Date. I'm hoping one day to renew our vows right where we did 11 years ago. Just going to have to plan a 2nd trip I guess. ![]() I am very proud Except when they fight 20 times a day. ![]() Thanks for stopping by. By the way I'm down a total of 9 lbs now!!

![]() Well that's 9 lbs in about a months time. I have however gone over 72 hours now without a soda. That might seem like nothing to most people but that's a HUGE deal to me. I'm pretty much addicted to the stuff. I drank about 5 sodas a day. The last three days have been filled with major caffienee (sp) withdrawl headaches. I'm hoping that will pass soon and that I won't slip.

I give myself a pat on the back every hour that goes by. I've never gone this long without a soda.. By now I would say "One won't hurt,... It's better then 5... Right?" So 4 days now! ![]() Quote:
It'll be nice to see how each others plans unfold? Maybe we'll be at some of the same parks at the same time? I don't remember you saying exact dates you'll be there? Did you mention it?

Where
It’s been many years since we’ve stayed on property while visiting WDW. We’ve stayed in some pretty beautiful and large condos the last 3 visits and I really don’t regret it. I just thought I would rather spend my money on a place with lots of room for the kids to roam around than on a small room on property at Disney. I admit the MAGIC just isn’t the same and I miss being encompassed by all things Disney. With that in mind we’ve decided the kids deserve to know what that feels like so we’ve decided to suck up being in a smaller room and made reservations at …….. ![]() I of course would love to stay in one of the suites but can’t justify the price with just the four of us. Reya is going to be so excited to stay in the Little Mermaid Room. Actually I’m pretty excited too!! I’m so happy about this new resort and can hardly stand the wait. ![]()

12th, 13th, and 14th.Do you plan on taking your girls to BBB while you're there? I'm still debating about taking Reya. We took her in November when we went to Disneyland and she LOVED it. We brought our own dress and we just paid for the hair and makeup. She felt like such a princess and got so many compliments all day long. I think she looked like a cotton Candy princess because she was ALLLL PINK! Obviously that's her favorite color and that's what she wanted so that's what we let her do. I'll post some pictures for you later tonight. I'm going to hit the redbox and pick up some movies to watch tonight while I do some dis'ing. Sounds like a great night. So I should have some pictures and entries put up this evening.

so we bought her a full on sleeping beauty outfit from the BBB shop and they sprinkled her hair with glitter so it was close enough ![]() I have learned how to do tons of really cute hairstyles on them all from youtube videos so now I can actually do the high bun hairstyle like they do at the shop for free! so I'll give her a little makeup next time and do her hair and then get her sprinkled for free, much wiser then $50 per girl because I think my youngest will want that done too, my middle girl isnt into the princess thing oh and I found one of those small princess tiaras that come on a hair comb at disney store last week so I bought it now (cheaper than in the park!) to bring with us

Last year at DLR we spent $50.00 for them to just do her hair and makeup. However I guess it was worth it just for the experience, she LOVED being pampered and loved that it was all about her for a little while. Let me download the pictures and I'll post them.
