The Daily Grind 6/11/12
Good Morning!
sun is shining  going to air out my house  today: PO - mail big give and bday gifts finish up partner swap work on dlr swap p/u megan dinner - sandwiches & fruit dance class (they run ours for the rest of June even though recital is over) bed early - tomorrow is willy wonka day and going to be LONG!!!!!!!!! have a wonderful day everyone!

I have no clue what I am doing today. It is raining here. I do need to catch up on a little housework, but not too much. I may scrap a little  My DH put my DS on the bus this morning, and I got to sleep in He will do this for me a lot during the summer now that summer school has started, and I love him for it. He is up getting ready to leave for work anyways so he does it to help a mother out

Today, is a little gray a chance of rain...which we have not had anything since June 4th and nothing significant since May 3rd... so we are all hoping for a bit of rain... Other than that... the boys just got up as did I.. I got up long enough to wake PJ and talk to her while she was getting ready... then went back to bed... so the only thing major on my list is to get supplies accounted for and make sure we have all essentials for the trip.. make small grocery list of things to get before we check in at the hotel.. need to call mom for her list too and we will drop it off to their hotel (anyone know what info I need on the box since we will be done before them??? name and confirmation number and date of their arrival? thank you JLD for the info!! It's appreciated!!!) spend time with my kidlets PJ to mail thank you cards out.. she spent 1.5 hours working on them and wrote a very personal and special message in for everyone... she even wrote thank you cards to the friends that just stopped by to say congrats.... I've got a very special girl on my hands...

Monday again??
Lisa, first thing I did this morning! Michelle have a great day of doing nothing. Nan- I always do: Guest Name, arrival date,c/o Disney Hotel Today: Girls up and out DD #3 is playing Disneyland game Need to work on a few things down here Get some pics moved around- both camera batteries died yesterday at the party, and 1 memory card was full, so dumped them last night then get them cleaned off. Get some pics uploaded pick up DD#1 and DD#2 at school DD#1 to jr high for orientation home lunch pick up DD#1 from jr high home chores- DD has lots to finish up from over the weekend early dinner Girls to cheer camp at 430-630 po run home

OMG Rachel he's so stinkin cute. Bet he knows it too. LOVE the cake
Michelle enjoy the nothing day Nan I'm ready for a lazy day maybe thurs I can put the boys out the door and go back to bed for a few mins. Lisa rest up that is going to be a LONG LONG day Today Tom and I celebrate 18 years. Wow seems like yesterday we started dating (that was 22 years ago), we've survived building our house, my parents house countless sugaring seasons and gotten both boys through elementarty school (well 1 week left). Eric and I have ball tonight Tom and Levi will bale and wrap dinner and early bed for this house late nights with dances and birthday parties. Dance photos are on the weekend grind page for those that want to see them off to get something done

Posting late today after a fabulous 3 day weekend at Disney's Vero Beach Resort! DH and I had such a relaxing time and an incredible view of the ocean. Even with the patio doors closed and the A/C on, you could still hear the waves break, ahhhhhhh.
Today: work on Mt. laundry vacuum mop floors water plants clip coupons make out grocery list download VB photos kill weeds on back patio Hope everyone gets through their Monday! Becky

It was yummy, but by the time i was done baking, building and carving I was done with cake DD did all the decorating herself.
Top layer was adult- mocha cake with kahluah filling-delish Middle-sugar cookie cake with buttercream Bottom-chocolate pound cake with cookies and creme filling. Fondant was marshmallow fondant so it was so sweet. not sure how the zebra sugar paper tasted  He's getting so big! time is just flying. Happy Anniversary Christy!!

Thanks Rachel. I so don't do cakes like that. Tom can his parents did cakes for years I stick with the star tip and flat tips. You both did a wonderful job.

 Happy Monday!Lisa, have fun with the show tomorrow! Christy, Happy Anniversary! Michelle, hope you are enjoying a nothing day! Rachal, love the cake! Baby K is too cute! Had to work today as I took tomorrow off to go with 100 8th graders to the aquarium. Swapped out Spring/Summer swap. Need to take photos of the last few groups and get slideshow up. Dinner hot dogs and mac and cheese bed early to be a school at 7:25 Enjoy the rest of the day!

I was lucky enough to have some of the "adult" cake yesterday...so yummy! guess everything is ready for tomorrow that can be....just getting the stage set up, last minute touches and rehearsal....then back at 430 to get all the kids ready for the show at 7!

Thank you Lisa and Caroline. Well considering we saw each other maybe a total of 2 hours can't really say it was anything. Haying season and baseball kind of took center stage, which it sometimes does.
