I'm closing in on that on the minivan, 170K on the Camry. I'll take a jeep over a minivan.

I'll pick Miami over any city in KY. The only thing we beat you in is a lower crime rate here in my town. As for college basketball, do we really need to do a history lesson? UK has the most wins, highest winning %, most final fours, and second in championships.

Norm, remember this is CJ. He lives in a town where they think 1972 was the pinnacle of football.

I was in Kentucky last summer. Seemed like a nice place. Beautiful country. Also some good BBQ. Spend a couple of hours driving in Miami and that will change your mind.

Basketball at Florida was an intramural sport until Billy got there. If you want to go back to the days when they used peach buckets as baskets, yes, KY was successful. It has become a great rivalry though. Have to admit, I would like to see a game at Rupp. Not that I could get tickets.

Heat up big going into the 4th.

Brilliant!!!

And, in another twist of irony, after Schnellenberger left Miami, he came to another Kentucky school and built UL football.

When I got home from work today, we planned to go somewhere for some family fun, now I live about 3 miles either way from 2 major Boardwalks at the shore (one of them is on TV well MTV) but thats where everyone is at so there was no way we were going there, so instead we drove a hour to PA to Sesame Place, we got there at 4pm, I thought they were open till 8 but found out they were open till 6, well mo matter, so we have 2 hrs, we ended up doing the lazy river 3 times in a row during the parade, did 4 other water rides (slide type don't know what the names are), did all the rides my son wanted to go on including the roller coaster twice, and finished by 5:50 Basically got everything done except the shows, the crowd was not bad at all, guess they were all by my house

I was able to change my hours tomorrow to 4-12 so I can go on my son's class trip, it should prove to be a interesting trip with me as a chaperone

Ouch! But if I remember correctly, the Dolphins kept the Bears from going undefeated in 86. I don't talk pro football. Too painful. Bad owners and incompetent front office for years.

UM can fall into a sinkhole and I would be a happy camper. Despise the Canes. And isn't UL now led by a former Florida defensive coordinator? Good coach.

Relatively new to this board back then. Would have gladly tossed a few back with you. Had a fun solo trip after dropping off the kid near Atlanta. Did the caves, went to Makers Mark and had some good food. Spent a couple of days in a city south of Lexington. Found this Mexican place and had a great authentic dinner. Who would have thought that.

Love Bridge...first watched it one night while up with Amelia one of the first nights she was home. It's funny, but I associate the movie with the thrills and nerves of being a new dad.
Also I sat there hoping at some point for Nicholson to say "This is not the bridge you're looking for"

Intro - David Robinson

Whoops... looks like I posted to the wrong thread to get on the member roll.
So... here we go again!

Real Name: David Robinson
Location: Portland, OR
Family Situation: Married w/ 4 kids
Occupation: CPU Design Engineer -- Intel Corp
Pets: None
Favorite Food: Lime Chicken Enchiladas
Favorite Drink: Dr. Pepper

Next Disney Vacation: Disney Cruise to Alaska, Aug 27, 2012!

I lived in Orlando in my gradeschool years and went to Disney any time we had friends/family visit from out of town. Towards the later years, I recall thinking "Disney Again?!!". I can't believe I'd have such a terrible thought! I'd love to visit that often now!!

Welcome David!

Don (Emma's Dad) will be along shortly to get you your Disdad #. There isnt alot of structure in here, its more like a chat room than a board. Any way, feel free to jump in, and just so you know, new guy buys Dole Whips!

Morning Guys!!

Its Tuesday after a long weekend, trying to get back into the swing of things. To ease into it, I've decided to surf instead of looking at spreadsheets!
