Barcelona
Did anyone do the Barcelona add-on that was offered in past years? If so, can you share the itinery and highlights? We are planning to spend four days in Barcelona before our 07/20 Greece adventure.

Sorry, can't help you, ABD didn't offer the Barcelona add-on in 2010 when I went, only in 2011.
I highly recommend the Hop-On, Hop-Off bus. Really shows you a lot of Barcelona, which is a fabulous city. I really wanted to see Park Guell and the Gothic quarter, but didn't make it there. I really should have planned more days in Barcelona! Sayhello

The add-on can only be added with a cruise. You can easily do the itinerary yourself. We also did the HOHO like sayhello and it's a great inexpensive way to see the city. We had a day and a half in Barcelona and we were able to explore the Sagrada Familia (bought tickets online), Parc Guell, their Arc de Triomf, parc Ciutadella and their majestic fountain Cascada and Montserrat (booked online). The one place we missed was Montjuic and we plan to go there next year. The flamenco dances can also be booked online. Four days is plenty to see the main sights in Barcelona. It's a beautiful city, IMO.

Agree with PP. You can easily plan out a few extra days in Barcelona yourself. It's a fantastic city and very easy to get around. There are so many highlights and it is huge - keep that in mind. It's worth paying the extra money for a good location to stay in. Check out TripAdvisor, Frommers and even things like Travel Channel website for some ideas of places to go and stay. Enjoy!

I guess I didn't explain myself. We are doing Barcelona on our own. I was just thinking that I could tap into the well-researched Disney itinery. Just being lazy-ish. I found the ABD add-on, and I am using it to put together our own plan. Thanks for the feedback.
