I am so glad I found your TR. The surprise for your daughter was too cute! We are leaving for our 2nd trip in August and we still have not told our DD. I think I will borrow your idea and surprise her on the day we are leaving. We are leaving Friday afternoon, so I can have a bag with a new swimsuit and her autograph books that I made for her in there and let her know we are leaving that afternoon. She keeps asking to go back and we always just say "hopefully soon!"

Can't wait to read more of your adventures.

Yay! A new TR! I loved the surprise video! I'm a first grade teacher, but have spent all of my years working with children ages 7 and younger. I just love how they see the world! It was so cute to see her explain to Uncle Corey that he was going to have to watch the dogs. It was like she felt bad being so excited with him standing there Too cute!!

Oh yeah - Ed will watch golf & tennis & Nascar....I don't know which one of those bore me the most.

Reid still loves Mickey Mouse too! He actually loves most of the Disney Junior shows still. Octonauts has become a favorite in the house. We like the litte songs they sing at the end. He's also getting into superheroes now so it's a mixture of Disney Junior & Spiderman, Avengers, etc. I think we're going to take him to see the Avengers movie this coming weekend. Should be a nice break form unpacking.

That's hilarious about the watch! Oh, yes! Y'all are definitely in trouble with her. By the time she becomes a teenager, she'll want clothes from all of the top designers. Forget the Gap!

Thank you! I have no idea where the diving panties came from. She's a nut. And as for the dog stuff, they don't often poop or vomit on the rug. Maybe she was imagining what would happen if they were alone for too long? Crazy kid.

DH doesn't watch Nascar, but Cory does, so I've sat through more than my fair share of races too. Also good nap times!

Mads would happily watch Disney Jr. all day, but she's getting into Barbie lately and loves those videos. Mads watches superhero movies with her Uncle Cory all the time!

My little fashion diva already has very strong opinions about what she wears, she better get a job when she's a teenager.

We were pretty busy, but having the trip to look forward to made it bearable. I can't wait to go back. Unfortunately, DH won't have vacation time for a year, so that'd be the earliest we could go.

CBR was great!!! I'd recommend it to anyone!

We will have to take a cruise one of these days. I think I saw that they have one cruising to Hawaii now? That's my idea of heaven!!!

It was so hard to keep the secret that last week. I wanted to tell her every 5 minutes! She was so excited!

She does have good taste, so good that it might bankrupt us

We are in the hotel for the month. My 1st piece of advice would be to plan on making a Target run the first day. We needed to get something for our clothes--I ended up with a freestanding canvas shelving unit and lots of air freshener. Seems as though the other "residents" here really enjoy curry, and the hallways and elevator reek of it. Yankee candle reed diffusers rock! Also, pack yourself lots and lots of books, puzzles, etc. I have longed for downtime like this forever, but when faces with nothing but downtime, I'm going a little crazy!! If you have any specific questions, let me know, I'm becoming an expert!!

My husband plays risk and some game like risk, (conquest maybe?) CONSTANTLY on the iPad. He also watches golf/talks about golf too much, lol. I just do not get the appeal. The only shows on my DVR are reality shows! I'm glad to know I'm not alone. I'm a big baseball fan too.

We will be staying at CBR on our trip at the end of the month but in a pirate room. I'll be interested to hear what you thought of it. I'm jealous you did DxDP, we would like to do that one day.

That's a lot of similarities! I just don't understand the golf thing. It's ok to play I guess, but to watch? Snooze. I love me some reality TV-Top Chef, Project Runway, and Amazing Race are my absolute faves, but I watch much, much more than that!

You'll love CBR! It's so pretty and beachy. I'd love to stay there again. DxDP was fun. I think we'd also do that again,but with a few tweaks.

She did feel bad for Uncle Cory, but once she realized that he was happy for her, she moved on. Those dogs are her main concern all the time. She even teared up at bedtime at WDW because she missed them.
