Long Run Days???

So I started taking Zumba classes and hired a personal trainer. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Zumba classes. The problem is the days of the week they fall on along with my personal trainer days. Does anyone do their long run in the beginning or middle of the week? I'm thinking of doing my long runs of Mondays then my short runs of thursday and saturday's. I'm taking the same number of days off but i'm not sure if running in the beginning of the week will throw me off mentally. Just with this new schedule my hard workout days are later in the week.

Moving the day of the long run shouldn't be a problem. I normally do a long run every other week on Friday. But, if something comes up I'll move it to Wednesday or Saturday.

Because of my work schedule, I do my long runs on Wednesdays. - No problem!

As long as you have adequate time to recover from your long run, any day of the week should be fine. I switch mine around periodically depending on how busy my week is with golf, tennis and other activities.

I'm a fellow Zumba addict too Isn't it just the best???

My long run is always Monday evening, treadmill at the YMCA, sorry I just don't do outside runs unless its a race

Tuesday is rest day, usually do a nice walk in the evening with my mom.

Wednesday is ZUMBA!!!!

Thursday is weird, sometimes I do my short run, sometimes I walk, its a weird day for me.

Friday I am currently able to swing the lunchtime ZUMBA, and I try and squeeze a short run either before or after.

Saturday morning ZUMBA, sometimes I do a short run, it just depends on my mood.

Sunday, nothing, resting day!

Just wanted to add one more thing About Zumba!!

Last night we had a Zumba Cinco de Mayo fiesta party which was a BIG DEAL for us regulars cause we got to dance in the gym!!! I'm still shaking from that excitement But for a $5 donation to the YMCA scholarship program we got 2 hours of dancing!!

This morning I'm aching, but I got on the scale and those 2 hours of dancing brought me down 2 pounds since yesterday Oh yeah baby!! Zumba works!!!
