She'll probably use press on Velcro instead of snaps for the shoulder seams. Isa is a fabulous seamstress! She scrapbooks too! Amazing woman

Have a fabulous day tomorrow
This made me laugh...

WE BELIEVE IN MIRACLES! ~~~~~~~~ Nearly twice as many children die from Congenital Heart Defects in the U.S. each year as die from all forms of childhood cancers combined.

So you're making Lisa a toga for her hospital stay? Leave it to you to design an new and innovative hospital gown. I guess you don't even need to worry about snaps or velcro then since it just ties over one shoulder. You are such a smart an creative woman! Way to go Isa!

I am just glad I was not drinking anything when I read this today...

What's funny is I was thinking that you know...the toga might work really well as a hospital garment... easy to get on and off no worries about the tushie showing (well assuming that you make a proper toga) and no worries about IV lines and things.

CONGRATULATIONS CHRISTIAN! (And the rest of the family too...)

Judy,
Congratulations to Christian on his college graduation. I wish him the very best in his future endeavors.
I am so sorry that Lisa is going to have to miss so much upcoming events due to her next surgery.
When you were talking about her ortho talking about stunting the growth in her one leg I just cringed. I remember my son's doctor talking about that with him due to a hip disorder. Thank goodness he didn't have to go through it. He has had 5 surgeries on his bad hip and you only notice his slight limp when he is exhausted or it is cold out. It amazes me how resilient children are.
Your family is all in my prayers and I am sorry for not responding to your posts earlier.
Melissa

I watched the ceremony--impressive. I loved the way they made a "fuss" over the "old lady" getting her batchelor's! Do you know how old she is? She looked to be in her 70's or 80's.

Congratulations to Christian.

Hope you are all back home now safe and sound

I have a QUESTION for you (on behalf of Isa): Isa wants to know what fabrics are allowed for the hospital gowns. Cottons? Knits? Flannel? Is cotton fabric with little sparkles in it allowed? Isa also wants to know what animals Lisa might like. I know she likes horses and assume she likes dogs... but what about cats? fish? frogs? etc. What characters / princess are her favorites? What are some non-dis things she likes? Littlest pet shop? Barbie? etc.

Thanks! I think Isa wanted me to ask you b/c she wanted her gown to be a surprise. She will greatly appreciate your reply.
