Taxi from All-Star Resorts to Beach Club Resort?

Hi everyone,
I'm thinking of doing the Cape May breakfast at the Beach Club Resort---but we'll be staying at the All-Star Movies. Does anyone have an estimate for what the taxi fare going one way would be?
Would it be possible to just take a bus to one of the parks and then another bus from there to Cape May? Or is that just way too much work/time?
Thanks!

You could take a bus to Epcot and then exit out the International Gateway. A short walk down a nice path and you are at the Beach Club. Or take a bus to Hollywood Studios and you can catch a boat to the Beach Club. You can also walk from Hollywood Studios, but I believe it is a bit of a walk.

I'm sure it would be FASTER to take a cab, but it would be FREE to take Disney transportation AND it could be a little mini-adventure!!!

Don't know about how much the taxi fare will be but you can get there by bus by taking the Hollywood Studios bus from the All Stars and then either walking or taking the boat from DHS to the Beach Club,if you're going an hour or so before the parks open transportation may not have started yet and then you should plan on doing the taxi.As a PP wrote you could also take a bus to Epcot, the problems with this option are that you would need park hoppers to do that unless you're park that day is Epcot, second is that it is a long walk to go from the front entrance to the International Gateway to get to the BC,and third you can't enter Epcot until the opening which might be too late to get to your reservation. From DHS you have the boat or walk option to the Beach Club,no need to enter the park.

Buses start running at 6:30 every morning.

If you take the bus to Epcot and then walk to the Beach Club, you'll need to actually enter the park and walk through it. That means that the park will have to be open and you'll need to use a ticket to get in. You should probably be at the bus stop 80 minutes before your reservation.

You can also take the bus to DHS and then walk or take the boat to the Beach Cub. This way wont require park admission. Again, you should probably be at the bus stop 80 minutes before your reservation.

A cab will take 10 minutes and will cost around $15.

We've done ASSports to Boardwalk (which is right beside beach club) via can a million times. It's like $12 and takes less than 15 min. Cheap and quick. Don't mess with multiple busses and a walk early in the AM. Take a cab. Have fun!

I would also vote for taking a cab. We once had a large group at Disney with early breakfast ressies. Half of the group was 45 minutes late, because the buses didn't run in a timely fashion! It's worth the $15 in cab fare not to have that stress!

Thanks for all of your help guys!! I can always count on everyone here to answer any and all questions I might have!!
I also realized that this post is probably more related to resorts than theme parks, so probably should have been in that section, but since its sort of a combo I guess its okay to be in with the theme park stuff.

Well, technically, the transportation board would have been the ideal place, but you still ended up with the answer you needed.

We've done it many times... as someone else said, it's around $12 (when you add the tip in there). Has been touch less, touch more, but that's a good average to plan on.

We like doing it - a nice break from the buses, and can sleep in a bit knowing we dont' have to allow time to wait for a bus and all that and can just go out front All Stars and get a cab about 15-20 minutes before our ADR time!
Just go out to the side of the resort where DME dropped you off at.... tell someone there you need a cab and they'll call one right over (they are sitting out in parking lot waiting!)

Wow, you read my mind---this was my other question, how to get a cab! Thanks again for all of your help!

That could be a little misleading.

http://www.wdwinfo.com/transportation/bus_schedules.htm

Busses start running 60-90 minutes before the parks open. Depending on when the ressie is, the best bet if you want to use disney transportation is to bus it from your resort to HS (busses should start running there at 7:30 for a 9 am opening and 6:30 for an 8 am opening), then you can walk to Beach Club.

Here is a map of the walk from Hollywood Studios to the INternational Gateway at Ecpot. Tt is slightly over a mile and we did the walk with a two year old in 22 minutes.

http://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/72807364

Now, all that being said, I think your best bet is to just catch a cab from your resort.

I know you'll read that over and over, but it simply isn't true. Buses are running by 6:30 every single morning (earlier during the holidays when the parks open at 7:00.) The bus drivers on the transportation board will confirm this.

We were just looking into this for our upcoming trip and came across this answer from the Disney Moms Panel; hopefully Disney screens the answers before posting (although they did add wiggle room with the 'often').

Buses often begin running as early as 6:30 am...
