Bluezoo chef's table question

Is it an actual, physical table that you need to reserve in advance, like at Victoria & Albert's? Or is it just something that you can choose to order that night?

Also, any experiences with it? Does it typically include meat dishes? DH is a pescatarian (vegetarian that also eats fish, but does not eat chicken, beef, pork, etc...). Will they accommodate that?

I actually ordered the chef's tasting menu in the bar when I was there in December, and it was fabulous. It's something you can order at the table, as I don't think there's a "chef's table" like at Victoria and Albert's, or a "chef's counter" at Flying Fish.

You can always ask the server if they'll make a tasting menu for a pescatarian. The worst they can say is no. Half my dishes were fine for fish eaters, and two were not. I think the chances are good that you will be able to get the tasting menu around your husbands preferences. The worst case scenario would be that they wouldn't, and he has plenty of choices on the menu he'd enjoy.

This may not even be an issue when you next visit; I was just there about a week ago and they had removed the tasting menu (hopefully temporarily) due to uneven demand.

Instead there's now a "chef's creation" dish that changes nightly. The pasta of the day is also worth checking out.
