Soarin fastpasses in August/Summer

How quickly will the Soarin fastpasses run out in the summer? Right now I have tentatively planned our Epcot day only being from 4-close or 3-close. We are going to be doing some watersport activities from the Contemporary that morning. I have had to shorten our trip to still keep our trip and avoid cancelling and going next year. When we arrive at 3:00 I am assuming all the Soarin fastpasses will be gone? I wouldn't care if the return was 9:00 because we plan on being there all the way til close to watch Illuminations. Are we out of luck on Soarin or have to sit in an hour long wait because of how late we are arriving? Because we shortened our trip, Epcot unfortunately is going to be park shortchanged. I decided Epcot because of the lack of attractions that will be open that would be of interest to our boys. With TT closed, it would be Soarin, Mission:Space, Sum of all thrills, and my youngest will probably enjoy Nemo and the aquariums as well. That's about it in FW for us. Do you think we can cover this and tour some of WS and get a decent spot for Illuminations for a 4-close touring plan?

I forgot about Spaceship Earth. We will definitely be doing that. Are we destined to have hour long waits for all of these? Thanks

I am actually wondering the same thing. I have family going next week. They are considering an extra morning at MK which would leave them just an afternoon to close at Epcot. Touringplans says fastpasses will be gone by about 2:00. I figure they could get Future World done, but maybe not Soarin'. Has anyone ever gotten a Soarin' fastpass after 3:00 PM? I'm a rope drop girl myself so I have no idea.

If we are not able to get a fastpass upon entering the park, at what time does the line start to go down (less than 30 minutes)? If the park closes at 9, will the lines start to go down at 8 possibly? I know its been talked about at easywdw how the land pavilion is staying open an hour later til 10:00 and the waits are virtually walkons because everyone is at WS during that time at Illuminations. I am not sure if they are doing this just as a temporary transition because of TT being closed or if this is a permanent change. That would be ideal to hop on after Illuminations on the way out of the park...

I think Soarin Fast Passes will be gone by the time you arrive, and the wait is likely to be 60 minutes or more. However, you might have a much shorter wait just before park closing.

I don't think the lines for the other attractions on your list will be too bad, however.

if the whole park closes at 9 will they close the land pavilion right at 9? Is there any way to ride it right after illuminations?

The later in to the summer it gets, the less the crowds are, but still 3pm is pretty late for Soarin' FPs.

In general, the pavilions close at 9pm. Due to the Test Track refurb, they are supposedly holding The Land open an extra hour, but I believe that is temporary, as in just a couple weeks.

Unless Soarin is open until 10 pm when you are there, I think the only way to ride after it closes at 9 pm is to already be in line by 9 pm (which means you would miss Illuminations).
