Ride Closures/Refurbs Jan 2013

Hi everyone!

So I'm hoping to plan a trip in January and I found that many sites say not to go then because many of the rides are closed for refurbs because that's their low season. Makes total sense but kind of sucks for us if things are going to be shut down!

I was wondering if anyone knew or had heard rumors of what might be closed in January of next year? I couldn't find a lot of info online so I figured I'd go to the Dis Thanks!

I'm pretty sure we don't know anything yet (keep an eye on the DIS' Rehab link), I'd start watching later in the year, during the fall, though Disney could announce anything at any time.

Speculation, Splash Mountain may be closed, since it missed it's annual January rehab this year due to BTMRR being under refurbishment and if there's one attraction that always seems to need TLC, it's Splash.

Believe me, you'll still find plenty of things open to enjoy - possibly including much of the new Fantasyland!!

Edit: Also, given that Typhoon Lagoon is closing for it's refurb in late October, that means Blizzard Beach will be closing second in early 2013, probably during your trip if that matters at all.

Oh I didn't know there was a Refurb link! Thank you so much! I figured it was probably too early to tell for sure what would be closed. Splash isn't a big favorite so that'll be fine if it's closed, and yay for the new Fantasyland! I can't wait!

Thanks for the link, huge help!!
