Well, I would like to post something positive as my latest posts have been pretty depressing. Unfortunately, I am unable to do so at this point in time because I need to RANT!

Those of you on fb might know this already. I got my email from school admissions today to tell me that my youngest DD had NOT got a reception place at her chosen school. Although we are not in the priority area by 0.3 of a mile, her older sister is at the school. What on earth do they expect me to do? I cannot pick up and drop off 2 children at the same time at 2 different schools! They are about 1.5 miles apart!

I have lodged an appeal and also found out that she is 7th on the waiting list. There are 5 children ahead of her who didn't get a place despite living in the priority area and one child who is in the same situation as us but lives slightly closer.

My stress levels are at breaking point with everything that is going on.
