Adding Adult Children as members

We are fairly new owners of BLT (bought just before the changes last year) and absolutely love our DVC. Our daughters are 18 and 16 and are already starting to talk about going with friends in the future.

As I read on the boards, I am starting to realize that they will not be able to enjoy all the perks like pool hopping because they are not members.

What do the rest of you do to get around this? Do you give them your blue DVC member cards or do you add them as members when they turn 18. I am seriously considering this latter option. I realize that there will be closing fees involved which is why I would wait until my youngest is 18 as well.

Is there anything pro or con I am missing?
