Dis Dads Convention - Page 26 - The DIS Discussion Forums

So... DW has taken up running. She recently decided that a half marathon might be a good longer-term goal. Last night, she signed up for the Disney Half Marathon, saying, "I will go down there to run, and you can go do DisDads stuff."

Which made me feel a little lazy, as the best summary of "DisDads stuff" I can think of involves bacon and alcoholic beverages. So, I signed up as well. I will not talk smack about the race; I've run a half marathon before (long ago) and it's a long way to go and a lot can happen. Also, I am old and slow. Luckily, the course looks pretty flat and it will be fun to run through MK and Epcot.

I know there is a lot of planning going on over on the other site but can someone fill in the rest of us what the plans are (if there are any yet?)

Where is everyone staying and is there any events planned yet?

i didn't have access either. I clicked on "whats new" and it took me to the infor on reservations. Then I hit it again and nothing.
