Hey DonaldDoleWhip, have you met Lady Dole, Dutchess of Whippington?.... She's on these threads somewhere!!

I think Ale & Compass sounds like a good choice if you're staying at the YC/BC or BW!

A Question about the marketplace at Beach Club... where is it? Does it have a standard menu available? I didn't see that one on the Disney World Dining website.

Does the Boardwalk or the Beach Club have a little store that sells overpriced boxed cereal, poptarts, milk etc, they do at Saratoga and Old Key West.

Does the Boardwalk have a "marketplace" like the Beach Club does?

Beach Club Marketplace is located in the lobby of the Beach Club, so you can't miss it and here is a link to their menu.

At the Boardwalk if you want to pruchase those items you mentioned they would be sold at the Screen Door General Store. At the Beach Club those items would be sold at the Beach Club Marketplace, which is their main store and it happens to be part counter service location.

Stupid question part deux

I read the previous posts about snack credits being taken at the cs mentioned.
I didn't understand, do they or don't they. I remember Snack credits being taken at Contempo Cafe CS in contemporary.

Just wanted to add that the Boardwalk Pizza Window now also accepts the Disney Dining Plan with a Quick Service credit.

Just curious, does anyone know the reason BW doesn't have a CS restaurant? Every resort I've stayed in has one and it seems like they all follow the same model so this really surprised me. I didn't even consider that they wouldn't have one. We drive to WDW and usually arrive late so the resort CS was always a convenient option. Does anyone know of another resort this way?

Dizneydaz, would those prices still apply for October 2013?

Hi there -

Does anyone know the earliest any of these places offers lunch?

We will probably be picked up by the ME bus around 11:30 or 11:45, so I'm wondering if we would have time to grab lunch to take with us to the airport.

Thanks!

Don't know about any of the individual places but the usual time to offer lunch is between 11 and 11:30. Some places might be 11:30.

I am going to venture to guess, since nobody ever replied here.. that Disney is considering the Boardwalk Bakery to be their CS option. I don't ever recall seeing a mug refill there though.
